I was told about Local's by a friend of mine who lives across the mountain. I've been multiple times now and I've enjoyed the food every time. The owners are great, the staff are friendly and professional, and the food is all good. I especially like the chicken quesadilla with bell pepper, jalapeno, and onion (it's a custom made order, and they absolutely nail it every time). If you're in town, and they're open, come in and get something to eat!

We visited Montain City, or passed through it, and were lucky to meet Tim and have lunch at the Deli. It is an awesome place where you will meet Tim and the locals and have a great time getting to know the place. Hight recommend it.

It’s so nice to have this cute deli right in the middle of our quaint little town, Mountain City. The food is great, the owner greets you with a smile, employees are kind and accommodating. The decor has that vintage style reminiscent of the past. It’s a great place to meet or have a sandwich alone with a book. Highly recommend!

Replying to Anna Church I’d like to reply to what you said about your experience at Locals Deli. First of all, you came at one of our busiest times and were told that we had 8 orders ahead of yours and that we had just ran out of Roast Beef and were in the process of slicing more. Hence the explanation for the slight delay. Second, I made your quesadilla and know for a fact that there was more than one slice of roast beef on it. We use the industry standards for weight when we slice our portions. Had you brought your quesadilla back before you ate half of it and asked for more we would’ve gladly gave you more. As far as attacking the integrity of the owner, shame on you. You represent yourself as a Christian woman but get on here and do not represent the truth at all. Do better Ms Church. Do better.
