We ate here for the first time, I was excited to hear about Gluten-free options and the server was VERY knowledgeable. Being celiac it's hard enough to find places to eat with your family.I was excited because i had read so many reviews about the gluten-free choices. However I got sick from cross contamination, everyone else's food was amazing! My daughter got the burger with Mac n cheese on it she ABSOLUTELY loved it. So for anyone who's not celiac I highly recommend!!!! In my daughters words food was bussin!!!!!!

My husband and I tried this place a couple years ago ordering takeout. Our son told us it was really good. He’s not wrong. The food is pretty good. The problem is ordering takeout. That order was completely wrong. I mean to the point that I believed we got someone else’s order I called the restaurant made good.
Fast forward to today. I saw an ad on Facebook and thought let’s try this.
Ordered online. Husband went to pick it up
A man physically checked the boxes. My husband could not see them. We ordered a cheeseburger with wedges and a French dip with wedges. We received 2 burgers both with fries. What totally blows my mind is the guy said yep the order is correct and stated that there was a French dip in one of the boxes! No way he didn’t know the difference so he bald faced lied. That’s my problem. Fries are not potatoe wedges. Clear visual difference. A burger is not a French dip sandwich. Huge visual difference So. Decent food. Terrible customer service. Oh well

Lowkey, my favorite fried pickles so far and probably the best fried potato wedges. The rest is kinda okay good. We got the French dip, which was flavorful but a bit too greasy and it really made a mess. We also got the Mac and cheese burger which was good but could benefit from more Mac and cheese and maybe cheddar cheese. Service was a bit slow when it was actually not busy during lunch time.

Me and my wife have been going here for about a year. We've always loved the food, while it's more expensive than fast food items well worth it.
We recently had our one and so far only problem with them. We had ordered our usual to pick up and take home as a pick me up because it had been a long month for us. When I had made the order over the phone I had forgotten to give them a name for it but we figured it would be alright. But when my wife came back with the food we found out both the burger were raw in the middle. So we called them and let them know. And even though I didn't have my name on the order or have any Proof that I wasn't lying the woman on the phone was very nice and offered us a full refund (by way of making the food again) we said we couldn't that day so she wrote down our names and said to come back when we can.
The next time we were there (tonight) we told the waitress what happened and she found the note that was written. She was very apologetic and even gave us a soda no charge. She also said the reason we got raw Berger that time was because they had a new cook (that they had to fire eventually)
We are in our 20s and both me and my wife hope to keep going here into our old age

We have been to the restaurant several times and are always very happy with our food, the service, and the atmosphere. Chicken Philly Sandwich and tater tots are wonderful. Husband always has a burger and onion rings. He’s kind of hard to impress when it comes to food, but he always enjoys the food here. Servers are always so nice. Love Backwoods Burger Bar!

Me and my wife enjoy going here. They have fantastic hamburgers I recommend the mighty feisty 12.00 comes with a side. All burgers that you order come with sides and they have really good pickle fries and fried banana peppers. We highly recommend it.
