This is one of those off-the- beaten path restaurants you're glad you found because the food is beyond amazing and they aren't lying about the size of their biscuits!
We have eaten here twice. We are new to Hawkins County. Not many places in Church Hill I like. This establishment is near Church Hill. Good food. Nice family owned restaurant. Clean and homey with an original name to boot! Looks as though they have a private part of the restaurant for closed off groups. Possible schedule a workplace lunch away from the public.

First visit. Cool vibe, very pleasant service. Big portion on the biscuit and gravy, but I can't recommend the gravy. It's basic at best. The bacon is outstanding, and the home fries are very good. Decent prices. We will return.

First time here. Was told my friends that the stuff was big. I just thought they were exaggerating. No they weren't! The biscuits are Big! The pancakes were humongous! Everything was very good.
