Skip the food. Ordered bacon cheese burger waffle fries and small (6-8oz) milkshake. Burger was tiny, like the size of small McDonald's patty, bacon was burnt. I like crispy bacon but this was hard to chew and just tasted burnt. Don't get the waffle fries either they were also burnt to a point almost not even potato like. Also I could have gone to Texas Roadhouse and had steak and 2 side for the cost of 18.85.
Won't be back for food but milkshakes maybe. As I was picking up my milkshake about to leave the counter lady said hope you have a nice day, I replied has to be better than my meal and she just walked off...

This little family owned greasy spoon is a local treasure. Excellent ice cream treats and good quality freshly made menu items. Typical of a classic mid-century drive-in the relaxed atmosphere is like a walk back in time. Make no mistake-you will not leave there with an empty stomach. The ladies at the counter are always friendly and helpful. They are patient with small kids that can't decide their ice-cream fate. Great variety. Ask about their Hamburger Steak specials.

Also They will not put your ice cream on the side if your order a fudge cake....it is crazy they tried to charge $3 extra just to put ice cream on the side.... I am all for locally owned business but that's just being greedy for no reason.
Employees are super busy so they can sometimes come off as grumpy as well.

The two for $15 hamburger steak is a great meal deal large hamburger steak with your choice of french fries or tater tots and salad or coleslaw and toast.
Chocolate milkshakes are very good. Bring cash they don't accept cards. Next time we will try the cheeseburgers we already ate dinner. Service was quick.

It took about 35 minutes to get our food The people that came after us were already served one guy even called his in and he still had to wait 15 minutes for his food and the saddest part was they weren't even busy.I could tell when I was standing at the register waiting to check on my order that they were back there talking about me because the ones that were supposed to be up front were back there either eating or drinking because they kelp looking at me whispering and another customer that was eating in they were done the same way.. I'm sorry but I have worked in the public with food service and I was always taught that customers were always right..

We ordered food, then we asked for restroom? None, had none, go to gas station nearby.!! What?? really? yes, and what restaurant or any placing serving the public, doesn't have restrooms?? So I go to wash up, came back, got our food. What has been great in the past, was horrible. The burger was cool, assuming frozen patty no taste almost as if it were freezer burnt. We asked for certain items on it, neither was right. A bacon cheeseburger, without the cheese...started to eat the fries, burnt....they were crunching. Another couple set down was having issues, and got a dipping sauce for onion rings, it was frozen so hard it broke the onion ring. Pathethic! Last time was bad, but not this bad. We are done with them and hope everyone that has this issue is rating them true.
