Some of the best food I’ve had from a food truck!

What can I say I eat food from this Food truck all the time! Along with several of my friends and family! It’s my Absolute Favorite! Everything is made fresh and with lots of love! I have Cat and her food truck at a lot of my events that I put on and she never disappoints! She has saved the shows a few times as others have backed out last minute or no call show. Cat however is not like that! 😁 now I simply can’t wait to eat from the Cafe in Downtown Kingsport! ❤️

We stopped by and got a Torta at the Fair today. AWESOME. Bolillo was so fresh and so huge. Me and my son split it and were both filled up. Will definitely be back for more!

The owners were kind and considerate and the food was absolutely outstanding. Will definitely try to find them again the next time we’re in Newland!

This review is for their food truck. I ordered the carne asada nachos yesterday while they were set up at Lowe’s on West Stone Drive and I was not impressed. The owners are really sweet, and I understand that inflation has raised food cost and they need to make a profit, but $19 for an order of soggy nachos that I could’ve made at home is a bit over the top. This is not authentic latin food in any way, the tortilla chips are bagged Tostitos and they were covered in jarred store bought queso dip and salsa. Shredded store bought cheddar cheese. Carne asada meat was cold. Probably should focus on selling sandwiches or something because “mexican food” this is not.

Full disclosure: I have a vested interest in this location and am often helping out, so this review is more about what this place is about since my bias would be obvious. The owners moved to the area and realized that there was a distinct lack of non-Mexican Latin variety and wanted to bring their American/Italian twist to Colombian cuisine out and see how it would be received. The menu is simple but with a little something for just about anyone to find interesting. No, there are no tacos (frequent question). The desserts are all made in-house and are always very well praised by customers. There is no staff to speak of, just the owner couple and some friends and family that chips in when needed, so it's a very casual atmosphere and can sometimes cause a small wait if there is a rush of customers, so a little patience is appreciated by all! It's a first-time adventure for the owners and is already getting regulars that come multiple times a week to sample the entire menu so that's gotta be a good sign!Beer and wine are in the works and while not open on weekends at this time, they do special events one weekend a month that are social events for people to just hang out, have food, and have some fun

This is a cute restaurant out of the way from downtown. This is real authentic Colombian food that is DELICIOUS!! We have tried everything on the menu and we’re not disappointed. It was Exceptional. Their desserts were to die for and all reasonably priced. The owners are so friendly and on Saturdays they have special events for the public with themed menus. Go check them out, you will be happy you did!!
