Amazing bagels and so fresh. I've waited 9 years for a good bagel spot here since we moved down and am so excited for this. You all seem like the sweetest people too!!
This Jersey girl highly approves (because I’m particular about my bagels.) Three different flavors didn’t disappoint. One was a breakfast bagel that had just the right amount of bacon added. I’ll definitely be back.
What’s a great place to. We really needed a great bagel place! Service was on point.
A bagel, like a flower—So fragile, so tasty once consumed. You have not known a bagel until it has known you. After eating at boro bagels, you develop a deep longing for the bread and cream cheese that once grazed your taste buds.Okay. Here is my review:The food was fantastic. I had the Asiago jalapeño bagel with chive cream cheese, and my friend had the cinnamon bagel with cinnamon (or maybe honey?) cream cheese. Mine, the Asiago bagel, was just the right texture—a slight crunch on the outside with that beautiful, soft, dense texture on the inside. They also put a lot of cream cheese on the bagel which was awesome because that is not how they normally do it in the south. These stingy southerners will jip you of your cheese fix. The south is not a good place to be a cheese addict. No, they do not taste exactly like NY bagels, because it is not NY. But I have to say, these are the closest I have had to NY bagels down here and that is a huge accomplishment. Even without comparing, they are delicious bagels. We have needed this in Murfreesboro for so long. I was so excited when I saw this was opening up and I was definitely not disappointed.Service was okay, but that is because it is the soft opening so they still have logistics to work out. I can definitely tell they were trying their best. The atmosphere—not so great. Decor is severely lacking and the choice of the bold blue next to the white brick looks cheap. Even if they would have just chosen a dark green for the logo and benches, or perhaps a brown, it would have looked a lot better. The movie posters are also an odd decor choice.Although, it is authentic to their “NY bagels” promise! I am from LI, NY, and most bagel places looked something alike to this one. Ugly? Yeah—although, nostalgic. And that is nice :)Overall, I am extremely excited that we not only have a bagel place in the boro now, but the best bagel place I have had in the south. Absolutely recommend!!

Finally a bagel place! Pretty good bagels and options, they need to work out the service quirks. Wish they had a healthier option like multigrain or wheat and a low fat cream cheese.
Awesome bagels! Small place and busy, but they were fast!

Fantastic breakfast sandwich - egg, bacon, garlic and herb cream cheese, lettuce and tomato on a spinach/parm bagel. My daughter had the breakfast burger. BOTH SO GOOD.We'll be coming here often.Bagels by the dozen are extremely expensive, though, at $11 for six, and I think $24 for a dozen. Much respect for the quality and freshness, but that's really overpriced, IMO. Of course, what isn't lately.

Absolutely delicious!! The bagels are huge and taste wonderful. I had the jalapeño cheddar and the Asiago. Highly recommend. Plus they have so many options. They will definitely have something that catches your eye! The cream cheese was the best, I can't wait to try the flavored ones. Plus you can get a bag of yesterday's bagels for $5. You can't bet that!! Definitely gotta try this place because once you do, you'll come back.

The fact that anyone gave this place less than a 5 star rating means they probably grew up around here and the best bagel they’ve ever had was from the grocery store. I was raised in CT right on the NY state line. Nobody in the boro has bagels that’s taste like this. I’d like to see a some salt bagels, bummed they have tried that on the menu but everything is phenomenal. Amazing ownership, staff, food. Lol, someone complained about the wait, these people opened like what 2 weeks ago? Brand new freshly trained staff? Simmer down. If you’re from the north east and you’re missing bagels… this should be you next visit.
Kid-friendliness: Very easy going kid friendly environment.

Stopped by to check out Boro Bagel this morning, and I gotta say, I’m so glad there’s a legit bagel place in Murfreesboro that is locally owned and operated! I went with the Porky sandwich on an Asiago bagel and it definitely did not disappoint. Taylor ham is hands down my go to breakfast meat especially on a sandwich so I was glad to see it on the menu. I’ll be interested to see if they expand their menu once they have their grand opening. The deli case did look a little empty. Would also love to see salt bagels on the menu as well as roast beef on the meat options. Other than that, 10/10 experience and atmosphere, would recommend. I will be back!

As a former roller myself, I was floored when I discovered Boro Bagel today.Today I got hit with a taste I haven't experienced in twenty-five years. I tried to write this review while I was there but I was just too happy with what I was tasting and what it reminded me of. When the gentleman who taught me how to roll was working, he would always make a few extra garlic bagels for me. I never figured out despite following his every last step to the letter I could not quite make them as well as he did. Whomever is rolling for Boro Bagel is carrying his spirit.Don't worry staff, I didn't forget about you. Courteous, prompt, and very friendly. I did laugh to myself when they asked if they pronounced my name correctly because I had only given them part of my name (Aura). Auralia is not fun to pronounce if you unfamiliar with it.I look forward to many trips there in the future.
