I received a coupon for a free pie on my birthday as I do every year but when I went to use it the person working said they weren’t honoring them because they couldn’t afford it. Then why send it? I’m the future when faced with where to go get dessert who do you think I’ll choose? The cake place who gave me a free cake and wished me happy birthday with a smile OR the pie place that sent me a coupon but refused to honor it. I tried to contact the business first before leaving a review but got no response.
Every pie I’ve tried here is delicious! As someone who is usually in a hurry, this place is my go to stop to get pies before family events! They are always a hit
Nice people but not my idea of a quality product. I know that reviews are totally subjective, but this is my experience. The coconut cream pie was cloyingly sweet, too heavy-handed use of coconut extract and the crust was basically a butter cookie, not a pastry in the least. I was really hoping for a top notch pie bakery in Murfreesboro but this wasn't it.
Stopped in to see what it's all about and ended up with 4 small pies for $19 (+tax). The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the price was reasonable to me.The packaging is a lot. It's in an aluminum tin that's suspended in essentially a bubble of plastic. If you follow me, you know I try to avoid that type of thing, but I get it. They're to protect the pie.We got 1 pumpkin, 1 peanut butter chocolate, 1 chocolate cream, and 1 buttermilk. My partner loved his PB one. The chocolate cream was really good with a chocolate crust ?The pumpkin was lackluster to me. No punch of pumpkin; the crust and little sugary pumpkin on top overwhelmed the filling flavor. We haven't had the buttermilk yet, but it has the same crust as the pumpkin, so I am assuming it'll be similar. In sum: I liked it, but not enough to seek it out again and risk the barley for it. If you like sugar cookie style crust, though, this is your place!
No longer accept bday coupons, even though they email the birthday coupon out. They should at least send an email to rescind the coupon. Will never shop here again. It’s the principle. Made a special trip to get my birthday pie.
Many Pies to choose from and they are absolutely delicious. A little pricer than picking up a pie at a grocery store, but it is freshly made with a “made from scratch” type of taste. Once inside, there is this farmhouse Industrial atmosphere with the opportunity to buy decorations and items such as Coffee Mugs if desired.
My daughter and I were traveling home from visiting family and wanted to get a pie in honor of my husband's birthday. This was his first birthday since he passed away 10 months ago and we wanted to do something to help honor his memory. He LOVED peanut butter pie and often had it for his birthday. We called several places while on the road but no one had one except the Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop. The lady on the phone was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. They had a pie and held it for us until we could get there to get it. Thank you for helping us to honor him in this way. The pie traveled another 4 hours before we could eat it. It had gotten soft since we couldn't keep it chilled, but it was delicious. We chilled it overnight and it tasted freshly made. Thank you for such a wonderful pie!!!! I highly recommend this place and will buy from them again if I have an opportunity to.
Very good! Their strawberry pie is very good as well as the coconut cream. I will be back!!!
Really cool little pie shop we stumbled upon. The guy working was really nice and explained all the pies. I grabbed a small coconut cream and a chocolate pie. Both were really good. A little too much on the SWEET side so if you are overly sensitive to sweets, I would skip the pies. I wish they had a dairy free option so my wife could of tasted. Overall, I felt they were fair priced, and tasty. I would come back and try another one if I found myself in the area.
Always has great pies... that's what we come to get!Staff is warm and helpful.

A little pricey but with inflation and being a freshly made bakery, I’d say probably reasonable. We really like the southern buttermilk and chocolate crème, so delicious.I will say our first time we went in the girl working the counter was rude. But the next time we went the girl who helped us was really nice.
The pies here are amazing. However I hate walking in and dealing with their rude and unwelcoming staff… they don’t greet you at the door and don’t even speak until you ask them a question or you tell them what you want to order. Maybe one day the owner/manager can motivate the employees to provide better customer service.
The staff has been unpleasant to work with on more than one occasion. I picked up a reserved pie before Thanksgiving and, like the other review stated, the staff member was impatient and impolite. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Second, tried to reserve a pie over the phone and talked with another staff remember who had unhelpful and mockingly obnoxious answers. Don’t know if the pie is worth putting up with horribly rude service.
We use this speciality bakery for our Charity event each year. Of course they have some of the best thumb cookies and pies we have ever ate. Our favorite pie is the chocolate chip cookie pie. Yummy. Picked up some today!
I usually order through door dash and that’s always been a good experience but today I decided to stop by since I was close. I was the only person inside but the cashier seemed to be a bit in a rush. I couldn’t remember the name of the pie I usually order through door dash and of course I said the wrong thing and she seemed a little frustrated by that and said “well which one do you want?” In a more aggressive tone and I don’t think she realized I saw this but her hand gestures added to the aggression. I think she tried to recover the interaction but it was a little too late. Perhaps you guys should make sure each employee is a little more patient (even though the transaction took all but 3 minutes). I definitely will stick with ordering directly through door dash or just not at all to be honest. Great pies though so that was pretty unfortunate.
