Im writing this as i’m sitting in the parking lot waiting for a $33 order remake October 29th my boyfriend and I came to this location as it’s the closest to our home after a long day or running errands. We take the food home and it was completely incorrect. I contacted them about 20 mins after ordering that’s enough time for us to get the food and make it home. I’m greeted over the phone nicely, apologetically and was informed that my information would be written in a book and come back any time to get it replaced just tell them my name is in the book. Today Jan 4th (Granted it has been 2 months i was never informed of it expiring, just like when you get a pizza credit, until you use it) i come and do as instructed. I was instructed to drive around and was informed that it’s been 30 days and he couldn’t do anything about it. I informed him that information was not provided to me and that i would’ve come sooner if i was aware. He basically was not willing to help so i asked to speak to the manager which he stated he was the “hospitality manager” And he just couldn’t help me. I was adamant about not being informed and how i just had to say my name was in the book.. A car came behind me so he decided to call his owner while i wait. He had the cook( which was really nice btw) ask me to pull-up and also come out and say he doesn’t know what’s going on but he told him to relay that i couldn’t get a refund me a remake which i stated was fine and what i asked for anyway. He asked me to pull around and he would bring waited and saw about 5-6 cars came and was served so i decided to drive around to check and the food was still incorrect and sweaty. In total i waited about 45 mins for a 3 piece catfish and fish and chicken meal to be renmace and they simply just disregarded me. The disregard, unwillingness to help is the reason for my review before contacting corporate

When this location was sold to another owner group...things began to change. The biggest? Consistency! We used to swear by this place...not anymore. The food is all over the place...not to mention the crazy prices. Fish was not good! Slaw was tasteless. The chicken...ah, fair. We are not going back. If you spend 45 bucks...you would think...quality. Sad.

This place has been here for surprisingly long, and it still has the same taste as I remember (probably worse). Went by here after years and it hasn't changed and looks pretty funky. Some employees seem really kind and some less inspired. I respect that it's still open, and I wish this place luck. The fish restaurant beside the hobby store and this place both impress me for how long they have existed.Also, southern style is better than country style. I'm surprised they don't have a 2 & 2 option got them. Southern and country 2&2 meal, but instead they have 2 fish 2 chicken. Weird. But, they have their ways.

Captain Ds has always had great hush puppies and I have days when I want something light that I will pick up an order. However, they have changed the recipe and the hush puppies are terrible. The fish was ok but not as good as usual. In the past on Sunday evening they will have some customers but. we were the only customers there. After tasting the food I could understand that.

I typically love this particular Cap'n Dee's.. I go here all the time. That is, until this last experience I had. I ordered their funnel cake fries with the strawberry dipping sauce..and usually its delicious and hot and fresh. However, that was not the case yesterday! They were cold and stale..in fact these funnel cake fries were so hard I couldn't even chew them up! I opened my sauce up, and it was Barbecue sauce! On top of that, the guy at the window was pretty rude for no reason. I honestly wondered if those funnel fries weren't a display they used to show their desserts. That's how hard they were.. I couldn't get a single fry down, and yet I still felt sick the rest of the evening.

Wife and had supper at this Captain D's last night, the food and service was good as always but the issue we had was the cost and the sizes of the portions. Wife got the 2 piece and I got the 3 piece meals. Our fish was very small compared to other times we been there. Wife got about 10-12 fries and I got a few more. Hush puppies were very small and what seen like a tablespoon of cold slaw and all this cost us 27.00 dollars.
