Love this cat rescue. The cats are well loved and cared for, the visiting room is immaculate and full of cat climbing towers and cool nap spots for the cats. They have details on all cats that are available for adoption up scrolling on a tv and you can spend an hour playing and petting cats.

We were not impressed. The cats are great, but the staff is NOT friendly, and overall just rude, in my opinion.
We are visiting from out of town, so my husband made a paid reservation online for two adults ($10 each) prior to our visit for today at 2pm, and we brought our two 7 year olds with us. The cafe’s policy states that 7 year olds accompanied by a parent are walk in only, subject to availability, for a 20 minute session, so we weren’t allowed to reserve a spot for them in advance, or we would have. When we got there, we checked into the two adult spots (1 hr length) and asked if our kids could accommodate us, that we would gladly use our paid 1 hour reservation for 20 minutes instead. The staff looked at us like they had no idea how that could work, and said they were full and we could come back in an hour, for a 20 minute spot. In my opinion, they acted very unfriendly, and seemed to care more about sticking to their rules than being accommodating or welcoming us in. Luckily, my brother and sister in law had also made a reservation for the same time and gave up their places so our kids could come in at our scheduled time, and we could all be together as a family. Once we were inside, one of the staff literally told my child to shush just because he was trying to get my attention. The staff literally stands in there watching over people like hawks micro managing your interactions with cats. My husband knocked over a cat water dish that was left out on the floor, and you would have thought a major accident happened, by how the staff acted. My son got his socks wet and wasn’t happy, so my husband left and took him to the car, leaving me and my daughter. Our short time with the cats was nice, but you better believe they were keeping up with that 20 minute timer and promptly let us know that our time was up. In short, this place could be a lot nicer. They really take their rules and job way too seriously. Our family loves cats, and we have many in our home, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also the coffee was out of one of those gross automatic machines they have at a gas station, so not a cafe at all. We will not be returning.

A warm, clean, welcoming cafe environment that truly knows how to celebrate cats! Each of the cats you get to play with during your hour-long session is adoptable through local rescues with which the cafe is partnered. All of the cats' medical needs are met while being cared for at the cafe, and all the cats are spayed or neutered and vaccinated, either prior to adoption or when younger kittens are old enough via voucher. It effectively operates like a large-scale foster home, each cat and kitten getting to meet new people every day and developing their social skills with humans and other cats alike. This cafe is a true haven for cats and kittens that just need a little TLC and a second chance. With hour-long sessions less than $15 a person, and an array of drinks and snacks to purchase while there, as well as a cat themed gift shop, this is definitely a must-see for locals and Murfreesboro visitors alike!

If you’re any kind of cat lover or cat aficionado, you have to check this place out if you’re in Murfreesboro. It’s around $12 to spend an hour with the cats, who are extremely friendly. There’s a tv inside the room that runs a slideshow describing all the cats and the rigorous adoption procedure if you are considering that. A nice little souvenir shop adorns the front of the building. Just remember to wear socks 🧦 as they are required!
