For the absolute best experience, do yourself a favor and order one of their pizzas dine-in. You CANNOT BEAT their amazing pies hot from the oven. The chewy crust, stretchy cheese, tangy sauce, and perfectly balanced toppings—it’s like going back to your favorite local pizzeria in the 80s. Oh, and be sure to get dessert while you’re there. Some of the best cakes we’ve found in town ever since 219 Broad Street closed. (ESPECIALLY the Milky Caramel Galaxy cake. 🤤 ) Always great food served by super friendly staff. “Toot’s has a fun, laid-back vibe — even though it’s right in the city, the wood decor and casual setup give it that coastal seafood shack feel. It’s usually busy, but the staff are quick and friendly, and the food comes out faster than you’d expect.

I had the catfish basket, my husband got the oyster basket, and our kid enjoyed the kids' cheeseburger. The sweet tea was also really good. Great place for a casual bite with solid food and fast service.“

That was good.

The Sandwich was sub par, the meat was not seasoned. I liked the Thousand Island with onions on it, but when you can’t taste that. It just taste like meat.

The Curly Fries wasn’t the best, I liked the way they tasted but you can taste the grease in them.

It’s 3 out of 5 for me, I want try the chicken next.“

“The City Cafe is a true gem that I wish we had found much sooner right by the square in Murfreesboro. The cinnamon bun was so much better than anything Cinnabon makes. I enjoyed the Western omelet with a Bisket, my wife had two eggs over easy with true fried potatoes (not those cut squares other restaurants force on you) and biskets with gravy. Granted the gravy needed some cream added for flavor but it was still good.“

“I love Slim Chickens food....but after tonight, I'm a fan of their service as well! We placed a delivery order through the app. Our food showed up but the driver didn't even ring the bell. They dropped our food off on the sidewalk. We figured out it was there because our dog barked when they pulled out of the driveway. Our food was right....hot and fresh but the 3 dessert jars were missing...which shouldn't be an issue except they are fairly pricey (but totally worth it). I called the delivery persons phone and he said "no english" and hung up on me. I sent a text to him hoping that he was using Google translate and he came back to our house. My husband went to meet him in the drive and all he said was "that's all they gave me. call store". We called the store and the manager got on the phone. I explained the situation to him and he remembered putting the 3 jars with our order so he knew the driver had kept the desserts. He gave me a choice of a refund or he would send our desserts to us....no questions asked. Our desserts showed up 15 minutes later by a great driver (Emma) and all ended well. Great service and food by the Thompson Lane location!!!!!“

“I had waited in my car for a while after I stated which lane I was in and checked myself in after I got a text message that my order was ready. I came about 15 minutes after receiving that message and waited in my car for about six or seven minutes before I decided to go inside to get my order, but the food was still fresh, hot and tasty. The service just needs to be improved but the young lady was very nice.“
