I am leaving this review to simply praise an employee. Walking in I could tell this place was EXTREMELY short staffed. Also, extremely busy! The girl working the counter, deserves to be praised! She was the only one on the line working up front. With a line all the way to the door. I didn’t see one guest ask her how she was doing, let alone say hi. I can’t imagine how she felt. First, the positives - service here is fantastic. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The store itself is clean and seems to be well organized. Unfortunately, the food is where things fall short. I’m a regular Chipotle customer (usually once a week at a different location by my work) and I’ve never had issues elsewhere - the food is always fresh. At this Murfreesboro location, however, the food has consistently been cold and the chips stale.

During my recent visit, I was surprised by the noticeably small portion sizes, specifically, the rice in my burrito, which amounted to roughly two tablespoons, about 10 beans, and a garnish of cheese. I initially assumed this was a joke, but it was, in fact, the final serving. As a long-time Chipotle customer, it’s disappointing to see such a significant decrease in portion consistency, especially given the rising cost of meals.
