Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We love Cracker Barrel but were highly disappointed in the quality & quantity of the Friday Fish Fry Cod special. In years past, we had enjoyed celebrating the Lenten season on Fridays but this Friday, the fish portions were small and I'm sure we could have gotten better quality from the frozen fish aisle at the store. Way too much money to spend on this type of product. We will not be back.

Now this restaurant has become horrible. I choose to be a healthy eater and I would get the turkey sausage with my pancakes when I come here. Recently I was told by the waiter that they've chosen to take off the healthy food and charge a higher pricing for the chicken sausage and the unhealthy foods. That's my cue to never come spend another hard earned legal dollar here or even waste my precious time eating here ever aydin, Fools.

Our server, Melissa, old white lady with glasses, was absolutely awful!!! She was hateful and not helpful from the start. After waiting to be sat 45 min, we sat another 10 minutes before we were greeted at the table. Then she came to ask us what we wanted to drink, we waited at least 15 min before we got a drink. We had been at our table one hour before we ever got our food. We watched as she messed up other tables food, and make excuses for why she couldn't meet the needs of her guests. We asked for a plate, she said they were all dirty, we asked for a to go cup instead of a kid cup for my son and she told me she would have to charge me $5.69, because they don't allow that. She NEVER brought me a plate. She said they don't give Togo drinks anymore, but I heard the server at the table next to mine ask her table if they would like one. We asked for to go drinks and she filled the cup with so much ice there was barely a sip of soda in it. Everytime we asked for something she would huff, like it is not her literal job. The food was good as always but this woman should be fired, she is hateful and terrible at her job.

Why can't they stir certain foods like the mashed potatoes in order to to keep them from getting hard and cold?

Love CB biscuits. It was Sunday mid-morning and biscuits should have been right out of the oven, but they were a little cold.
Gravy was a little cold and globby, too. But, overall not bad. Nothing like a hot out of the oven CB biscuit. Our server was wonderful. Parking lot was full, but we got seated immediately.

Parking: Lot was full. Thankfully, there is an overflow lot across the street.

It was a little disorganized because people that were dining in were checking out at the same time as people picking up their food.

The food was phenomenal. Worth every penny. However, the service was rather disappointing. The greeter didn't get me any silverware, and my waiter, it felt like he was just doing his job and nothing more. CB is known for their "southern hospitality" but I just didn't feel it while dining. I love CB and am a loyal customer, but we have to get better with the service. Sidenote, this is arguably the first time I've had this experience at a CB.

Server took our drink order came back and split 2 cokes on my down my front my pants, shirt, glasses and some splattered in my hair. Server laughs other servers come with napkins and towels. Move us to another table. Spill Server never comes back to apologize after she stops laughing. Management never come over. Food was good. Second Server took drinks off of tab. At check out front end supervisor took my meal off tab. Manager never said a word to me. And the spill Server never did either. Was no asking for anything more than a I sorry are you okay .

We waited 15 minutes for a table. Once seated we waited 25 minutes for food but they brought the wrong order. Server said too many items were coming out at nice. She would be right back. Another 20 minute wait. When the food came, 2 of our party got the right order. Third person had to wait again. I asked to speak with a manager. When he came the 3rd member of our party was just getting her food. He said, looks like all is good now and walked away. We were late for a next appointment and asked for to-go boxes. The server offered us a free dessert. In my opinion, it should have been more. At cash register, our bill was for the wrong order that was brought to the table. After a few minutes of trying to straighten out what actually ordered, we decided to just pay the total that was for a very close amount. Food here is always great but we did have to eat some of it Luke warm while traveling.
UPDATE: Cracker Barrell reached out and provided me a certificate for a free entree.

I love Cracker Barrel but everytime I order my eggs are way over cooked and my loaded hashbrown Casserole has way too much bacon and the cheese is not melted.

Once again when I got home my order was not correct. I had ordered okra and pinto beans and got two sides of beans. This is the third time this has happened in the last couple of months. Other than that the food was good.

Served 6 pieces of fried chicken tenders that had to have been bottom greasy crumbs. 14.00 +. Should have sent back to kitchen.
