The Dapper Owl has a wonderful ambience. I think it would be a good place to have a coffee and read a book, although it is very drafty inside so I’d dress warmly and maybe bring a blanket. The coffee was good and they even have a flight to try multiple flavors, but the food left a lot to be desired. The breakfast sandwich and all the pastries were VERY DRY. If I lived closer, I’d be here ALL the time. The atmosphere is incredible and SO many places to sit and read or study. The baristas were sweet and helped me add to my coffee sleeve collection by going out of their way to stamp a sleeve for me. Perfect pick-me-up for this conference I’m about to sit through. Highly recommend!
I got a green tea, blueberry muffin, & husband got a beer. I like this place for the atmosphere; but food & drink is pretty expensive. I didn’t see prices on the pastries but got a muffin which was good! However, it was $6. Our whole order was $18 for 3 things.
