We took my brother-in-law (the food snob) there while he was in town. When our steaks arrived he asked for steak sauce. My wife told him to try the steak first and upon his first bite he kept raving about it. Now every time he comes into town we eat there.
Demos has been our favorite since we moved here in 1998.
We also love the curb service.

I ordered take out for my birthday..my soup was watery.. my steak was mushy and my broccoli was swimming in juice. it was good. It looked a mess.

Pretty good with the usual food. Tonight i ordered the special Drunken pork chops. They were not edible. Tough, hard and way too salty.

When my husband order a bake potato they sent it out plan nothing on it . Ask to have everything we didn't send it back he put parmesan cheese on the table on it and salt and pepper.You said it was the worst meal he had ever had there

I updated my other review but I guess Google wants me to say it again. As much as it hurts to say this I no longer the demos that all Murfreesboro residents know. The restaurant I ate at last night would never have won a single award. Whoever is in charge please get over yourself and go back to the way things used to be or I think we will lose you as just another restaurant Murfreesboro has shutdown because nobody comes anymore. I mean I have never come to demos at dinner time on a Monday and the waiting room was completely empty and they seated a party of 10 immediately. That's never happened. What's wrong and please fix it. Update 12/25 things seem to be better the floor manager Ethan came and asked us how things were going and if our food was good. That's how they used to do it keep up the good work and you can get back to glory from the 90s and 2000s.

Server appeared distracted. I think the staff was told to promote a gift card promotion, instead of service. One person ordered soup and salad, but she didn't get her salad until she asked at time of checkout. I asked for some parmesan cheese for my soup, and never got it. Another person was only half way through her meal when the server wanted to clear her plate. Also, the fish wasn't as good as usual. Both the tilapia and salmon were "off." Just not the usual Demo's quality of food and service, especially the service.

We visited from Florida and ate here our first night visiting Murfreesboro Tennessee. Very kind staff and the managers do follow ups to ensure all customers were happy. They even have a box where you can leave a note to the managers about your experience. Young waiters and waitresses. All very kind.

The cheesy bread that just keeps coming is AMAZING! The spinach dip was meh, because it wasn't a dip so much as a tiny bowl of wilted spinach with chunks of garlic to put on tortilla chips.
The dishes I was able to photograph before everyone just dove in were my husband's sirloin medallions with Italian sausage pasta -$11.99, salmon imperial with roasted zucchini and I had the seafood baked potato - $9.99. We also got our choice of soup or salad sides.
Everyone cleaned their plates!! I also shared a bottle of red blended wine by Cupcake Vineyards- VERY smooth for a red, not dry but not sweet either.
The restaurant was well lit, so I could actually read the menu without having to use the flashlight app on my phone. 😂 The only complaint, other than close quarters on the tables, was they had the AC running when it was 42 degrees outside. They turned it off when our food arrived, but it was back on during dessert
Everything was reasonably priced. Overall, we would definitely go back!
