We were actually headed to another place, when I saw this place and I said, "That better be ran by actual Italians or I'd be ticked." When I pulled up the website and their story actually tells about how the grandparents WON the immigration lottery to come to American from Italy, I told my husband that we are eating here. First, the feel is cozy and welcoming. Always a great sign. The counter is like a true deli counter and the girl working it was super welcoming as well. She took our order and was very gracious in answering our questions.Second, there are many details in the actual seating area. There are little nooks and cranies that you should look at. For instance, in the broken bricks, I found little objects. I thought of adding a picture, but some things should be left to the imagination for you to experience for the first time, in awe of course.Lastly, but not any less important, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the Caprese. I ordered it as is, so tomato, arugula, basalmic, basil, mozzarella, and something else, and a cup of potato soup. Absolutely divine. The ingredients were so simple, but the taste? Perfection! ?My husband got the Rueben as is and was drooling. He said the sauerkraut wasn't overpowering which is what is wrong with most places, and then he went back and got the tomato basil soup and loved it too...he's not even a soup guy.This is the first place he wanted to give a five stars to, other than our favorite Indian place. The only thing I'm sad about is I wasn't able to get a cannoli, but I get that they run out, it happens.Between the atmosphere, the food, the service, and the prices, this place has it all.

First time in after having this spot on my radar for ages. My spouse’s favorite food is a sandwich so decided to stop and grab a surprise sandwich for her on the way home from an appointment. The second I walked in I was smacked with the best aromas and a cute decor. Line was about 5 deep and moved quickly during peak lunch hours. Grab a menu and review while you wait. My wife had nothing but great things to say about her Italian on sourdough and my dip was fantastic! Don’t skip the lemon mascarpone cake! The best I’ve had in a long time. I grabbed a picture when I was almost done but you can see that creamy delicious layer. I want another piece already!!! We will be back, probably with friends to sit down and share a few sandwiches to get a taste of more of the menu.Parking: On the square so street parking which as you likely know can be iffy at times.
