Let me start off by saying my husband and I eat at Mexican restaurants every time we travel which is frequently.
I have never been served broccoli, cauliflower and carrots with french fries. This was not what I was expecting. Then the ham on the pollo monetary looked like luncheon meat. This was not a good experience. Our waitress was not attentive. There was only 6 other couples the restaurant so being busy wasn't an excuse.
Side note the salsa was the best part of the meal. Wasted our money. Left 80% of food in the plate.

The El Toro Smash Burger is really good!! Better than burger places out there. Parrillada and alambres the best in town!! Highly recommended.

I placed an online to-go order today Dec 23rd around 11:35am. I ordered grilled chicken nachos. I didn't select any add on veggies. Just chicken, cheese nachos. When I opened my plate, there were grilled peppers and onions on my nachos. Needless to say, I had to pick around my food to avoid the peppers and onions. Very disappointing lunch.

The restaurant was very dirty. Our service was not good. We had to ask for silverware and ask for drink refills from a different waitress, who reacted rudely when I had to flag her down for a refill. After we received our food, our waitress was no where to be found and no one stopped by to make sure we didn’t need anything. The food I received was not as how it was described in the menu. It was supposed to be shredded chicken with shredded cheese, instead, it was chunks of chicken with queso. Needless to say, we will not be stopping by El Toro ever again.

It smells like pee as soon as you walk in . The sign advertised $2.99 Margaritas they were in fact $8 and top shelf was $12.95. I literally saw the bartender pour the margaritas right out of plastic gallon into a plastic cup & they were horrible. Nothing but acid reflux juice . And to top it off we were charged a 15% “after 10 fee” which was not posted anywhere. We were the only people in there and after that experience I know why. Will never return

Wonderful experience. Victoria was our waitress and her service was awesome. The food was excellent and the portions are HUGE!! Highly recommend this place!
