Excellent and authentic Japanese cuisine. Attention to visual presentation reminded me of my experience in Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka! Service was excellent. A bit pricey but for those who can appreciate the total experience it will be well worth it. Definitely will be back soon.

My wife and I love this place. We often sit at the bar which a nice laid back atmosphere and great bartender. Everyone is pleasant and attentive. We have had hibachi and sushi and never disappointed.

This place is awesome!! Mom of 3 little kids here, and I get so sick of eating macaroni and cheese…. So, I’ve been ordering from Ichiban thru grubhub & ubereats when I just need a break from kid food. The food showed up on time fresh and delicious. This has to be my new favorite sushi place in Murfreesboro. Here is a picture of my take-out order today (after I’d eaten 1/3rd of it… lol!)— the Bagel Roll & the Rock Star Ichiban Roll. Very good. And the rice actually has flavor!

Authentic food amazing service and very fresh, this place completely lives up to the hype one of the best ramen we tried in Nashville. We’ll be going back here for sure.

The atmosphere and service was excellent. The music is easy on the ears. Just basic instrumental jazz. They had different items on the menu that have never tried before. Of course they have your standard menu items as well. I decided to experiment and order the UNA DON which is a broiled freshwater eel on a bed of rice comes with a soup and salad. It was really good but not worth the $16. I also ordered a California roll and a shrimp tempura roll. This came as a two-roll combo. It was okay but I've had better sushi at other local restaurants. I also do not feel that I had $11 worth of sushi although it too came with a soup and salad. Also the shrimp tempura rolls are a little different than most Japanese restaurants. Usually the other restaurants put some kind of tasty sauce on it and the shrimp tempura is usually crispier. Otherwise it was not a bad experience at all. I will be coming back to try out other menu items especially the ramen which I hear is very good.

Food was excellent. But I felt like I was eating Japanese food at an Elks Lodge type atmosphere:-(((

Food and service are always great. Tonight was the first night we had to wait to be seated but they were really busy. I fell in love with a chili spice they gave me for my food and the waitress brought me some in a Togo sauce cup to take home. It may be pricier but it is well worth it!!

What a wonderful gem tucked away in Murfreesboro! This is the best Japanese restaurant in Middle Tennessee! We dined last Saturday and tried a little of everything! The miso soup was delicious and served hot. The beef tongue appetizer was totally divine. The sushi rolls were artfully presented and tasted so fresh. The tempura was crisp and flavorful and the yakiniku was transcendent.

Ok so first off: we went early so the smell of old men with sinister plots still existed from a previous long-time establishment. Once the place started filling up the aromas of Japanese food took over and the world was right. Didn’t look like feudal Japan puked all over the place so everything was decorated in a calming atmosphere. The food! Omg, the food! The sushi was, personally speaking, the best in the boro so far. Service was impeccable because they didn’t rush us and they were super polite and on top of it. Sweet tea didn’t taste like pancake syrup with ice. I mean, I could go on. I’m a fan, I’ll be going back often.

Love going here and getting a little bento box. I love the little potato salad they include with the box. For my 2 entree items in the box I almost always choose that yakiniku (ginger beef), and the other I pick something different. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. Service is fine as well. Would like to come back at dinner some time and have hot pot.

Only been for lunch. So far so good. Sushi was super fresh. No specials so it can be pricey if you order nigiri. Super roomy inside.
