Wonderful spot for lunch. Hard to find a great meat and three that knows how to make turnip greens but this is the one! Turnip greens and pinto beans with the flapjack cornbread are a must.

Was awesome taking a lady for her first time and she loved it all. Me too! ? Jeff’s is always good eating and I always get great portions and great service. I highly recommend.

I love the people & the food. (Although, sometimes it's a little cold) The building is a little run down, but some good ol soul food & a little witnessing makes it all worth it! If you haven't been, definitely give it a try.

Excellent meat and three. Has delicious veggies and meat. You can eat healthy or hearty, and that is rare these days. Best soul food I've had in a long time. Strawberry Cake is great. Great place to eat.

Ordered a chitterlings plate half of them were dried out like that had been reheated over and over let someone know and they did offer me another plate the chitterlings just didn’t have a good taste nice place and nice people but i would not order the chitterlings everything else looks really good

I ordered chicken & dressing & it was horrible. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to Find good food in Nashville. Before I ordered I googled the restaurant. Being black, I at least thought it was going to be good. I threw the whole plate away in the trash. This food was nasty. Who cooked today? They need to be fired. I wouldn’t serve this to a homeless person. Terrible, please do better ?Why would anyone think this food is great. Apparently they don’t have taste buds. You don’t even deserve 1 star. How can you mess up chicken & dressing? Apparently y’all did. Sweet potatoes & mac n chz were horrible.

The only tolerable things were the hash brown "casserole" which is not a casserole at all, more like some potato mash concoction and the banana pudding was cool I guess, but the fried okra tasted old or fried in old grease or SOMETHING but it was not edible and it was luke warm. And the fish??? That ain't catfish. I don't know if it's swai fish or what but I know what it's NOT. It was huge which would be great if it were good, if it was edible and if it was legit catfish. I don't even know if it's a fish at all! The texture was weird and mushy, the crust was as thick as the "meat" and it didn't have a fish taste and no amount of hotsauce, tartar sauce or any other condiment would've made it better. Threw the whole thing away, Threw my money away and I'm almost embarrassed. And I was suprised at the hard, old tasting cornbread. Needless to say that I will NEVERRRR eat from here again. Sheesh....sorry not sorry.???? *******I guess I do need to stick to GMO, chains and microwave dinners if your food was the only option! You didn't deny your gmo fake fish either! TRASH! Go to Kleer Vu around the corner. The fish is real and the food is better.Good day! Not Sorry!! AND PLEASE YALL PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE THAT 5 STAR REVIEW AFTER MINE FROM THE ASTRIDD PERSON. I was craving some good down home cooking, so I doordashed my dinner. I can't speak about service or atmosphere, however, LET ME TELL YALL ABOUT THE FOOD!!! It was amazing!. I usually DO NOT order fish from restaurants because it is more often than not, its not cooked right... I THREW the tartar sause away... it was not needed, the flavor was all there and then some!!. The turnip greens and green beans also 10/10! I'll definitely be stopping by in person for more of yalls amazing food.

Moved away years ago and still dream about this place. So happy to be back to eat some of the best southern food I've ever had. The catfish and chess pie are top notch. You've gotta try them!
