This is the most delicious hidden gem in Murfreesboro, i dont usually post reviews but this place was unbelievably good. We went here from a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was so comfortable you can tell there’s a lot of love poured into this place, it feels a home cooked meal again, and the server was such a sweetheart, not to mention the prices are unbeatable.This picture may not look like much but i swear to you this kickin sandwich and mac and cheese was packed with flavor. Dont judge a book by its cover this place is ridiculously good. I would come here over a chain food place any day.

The mild sauce was great! It’s made in house and we loved it.

Great Food and Great Atmosphere

We went to this place as new customers, the customer service was terrible the young lady taking our order acted as if she couldn’t care less after we ordered we sat at one of the booths waiting and were approached by a older guy who was whispering about us to the server asking what we were waiting on them comes and asks us are we waiting for food then he comes back and asks which order is ours like he just wanted us out. We spent $68 on 2 10 pieces and order of home fries chicken fries and koolaid and the food wasn’t worth it. We paid extra for our wings to be fried hard they were soggy they left out our ranch home fries were half done overall a bad experience and we were so excited because we heard it was black owned now I wish I would’ve just went to raising canes

first time trying it and it was super delicious! And super affordable! We did curbside and the girl who brought our food was a little rude we greeted her and she didn’t say a word gave us our food and walked away but the yummy food makes up for that!

The Lady that works there most of the time in dining area not very friendly at all and every time I go there I have to wait forever to get my order. No thanks I’d rather go somewhere else and get courteous , fast service.

Wow, 1st time eating here and the catfish was amazing, hot and fresh. Had baked beans and fries and hush puppies, I did the 1lb portion and couldn’t eat it all, will definitely be back

As a resident of Murfreesboro, this establishment is one of a kind. The atmosphere was a breath of fresh air soon as I entered. The music was soothing (not too loud not too soft) fit for the environment and so that was a plus. The bartender was welcoming and efficient (she’s from New Orleans and has excellent hospitality). The Management did a pulse check with me as I enjoyed my food and was personable (great guy). Now to the part you all want to hear!!! The food was every bit of phenomenal and reminded me so much of my late grandmother’s home cooking (which is some big shoes to fill). I ordered a catfish plate w/ cajun rub, white beans and spaghetti. All of the food items were fresh and top tier. I had a long morning and the Miami Vice Daiquiri hit the nail on the head with a perfect blend of pina colada and strawberry flavor with a perfect mix of liquor which made my day a bit more relaxing. Unfortunately my phone is low on storage so i cannot manage to take photos of everything but maybe thats a good thing and my review can allow you to experience it yourself.

Honestly the best chick spot in Murfreesboro hands down . The chicken sandwich and fried pickles hit every single time. ANDDDD to mention the spicy wings and the adult slush let me tell you missing out if you don’t try!

The chicken is seasoned just right you don’t even need sauce but there are also tons of homemade sauces to choose from and they’re all so good!
