I used to Love This Place for over 25 yrs!! It was The best soul food around, best hot water cornbread also. Now, the food is not seasoned, very bland. The hot water cornbread is not the same. Only take out orders. No dining in. Ms. Anita used to rock with this little place. I miss how it used to be. ?

Food was at best ok. It was not fresh by any means, and it was overpriced. The service made me feel like a piece of cattle being troughed through. You cannot dine in anymore and the atmosphere just felt dirty. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but not a pleasant experience. Will not go back.
What an amazing hidden gem. We found this great little take out eatery, and this home cooking was mouth watering. The Peach Cobbler and Chocolate Chess Pie were the best way to end this meal. Home cooked meals were just like my Mawmaw's used to make. If you are ever in Murfreesboro and want something different for lunch or dinner to take back with you, this is the place! We will be back.
