Las Trojas Cantina

Our 1st visit here and we have decided this is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is very good and portions are big. We will be making this a regular stop a couple of times a month.

The Elephant toe 36 oz Ultra was excellent. I had the crazy quesadilla minus onions and it was also great.

My wife and friends just ate there 2/21 for a1:30 lunch. Part of my wife’s order was a bean burrito, but she was given a beef and bean instead AND it was cold. She ordered me a to go steak and shrimp fajitas with extras tortillas. I ended up with steak only and NO tortillas at all.. we were charged for what we didn’t get.. Her sister got a margarita that tasted like nothing but syrup.

Just left for Valentine’s Day. The food was absolutely amazing. Seasoned to perfection. The drinks were a little disappointing. I ordered a premium margarita with Don julio but got a house margarita instead. The waiter tried to tell me that it was food coloring in my margarita and that’s why it tasted differently, insane!! I told them that I’m a bartender and know for a fact that they didn’t use premium tequila to make my drink. Nonetheless, the food and atmosphere was really good so I’ll be back but definitely will be sitting at the bar next time.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Drinks were made and brought out quick. Food was delivered super quick. And the parking lot was full so we were prepared to wait. Abraham was our server and he was fantastic. He was even very great with our 18month boy and 4 year old girl. Brought kids food out first which is something a mom could only hope for at a restaurant. Seriously top notch food and service. We felt like VIPs at this place. Customer service is not dead. Go to Las Trojans and get treated like kings.

Yesterday I got to the restaurant early to meet with a group of 25 of us. So getting an early arrival I went to the bar and ordered a virgin Bloody Mary. It tasted terrible I couldn’t drink it and then ordered water while eating chips and salsa. I finally ordered an it (Fajita Hawaiian) off lunch menu. When I got the bill it had $25. On it and my food was $16 they charged me for a virgin Bloody Mary which I couldn’t drink. It wasn’t my fault the bartender didn’t know how to make it. I’ve been there several times but I’ll be darn if I ever go back there. My daughter has met the owner several times since he’s from Fayetteville, TN and were from Huntsville. And the group they had a bad experience as well this was disappointing. Ugh

Went there tonight, the food runner was handing out the food spilled grease all over my jacket and pants acted like they didn’t even care! I had to bring it up and the manger only said sorry! The rite thing to do would’ve been to say hey we’re very sorry your food is on us tonight instead they only seamed to care about the money of my bill instead of me being upset about it! They don’t at all care about there customers only the money that’s it and tonight said it all! Any manager would’ve said we’re so so sorry the bill is on us! The employees didn’t even go report it to the manger they wanted to hide it from him I guess because I had to ask who’s the manger! Very unprofessional! I don’t see them lasting long with how they conduct business I’m very upset over this matter!
