Placed a call in order for pick up, my fiancé asked her could she hold on one second and as he was handing me the phone so I could order I heard her huff as if she was bothered.while I was placing the order I could barely understand her so I asked her what did she say and she caught slight attitude, so I had to change my tone of voice which wasn’t so nice, food was bland chorizo queso taste like just ground beef and bland cheese dip along with everything thing else being also bland this was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I do not recommend this place, also I don’t think they like Black people . How are you a racist establishment and your food is horrible at the same time?

Seeing the reviews, i was excited for this one. It was quite the let down.Pros: Its priced appropriately for what you get.Cons: Everything that we has was the blandest form of mexican food ive ever had. Even the salsa with the chips tasted more like tomato paste than anything. The ground beef is quite litterately just ground beef, no spices no nothing. By the end of my first taco i had an odd bitter/sour taste in my mouth that would not leave.Considering you can get much better mexican food in the area for just a couple of bucks more, i would personally steer clear of this one and try somewhere else. Pretty much any mexican restaurant chain beats this. Some more local shops absolutely leave it in the dust.

We come here often, and we have brought family and friends because the food is really good. Last week I ordered a take out order, and as soon as I got home, I noticed the cheese dip had spilled all over my bag. I turned around and went right back to the restaurant to show them in hopes that I could at least get another one especially considering I even tipped 20%. I was not seeking to have the whole order replaced, I simply just wanted another cheese dip. The host asked the server if she for sure put the lid on it and she said yes. I told her the plate was placed in the backseat and it was a straight shot home as we are located in the sub division. Again, instead of offering to help the situation, I was rudely questioned as to why I would place the plate in the back seat and was rudely told that since I left there was nothing they can do even though I was literally just in the restaurant minutes prior. It’s very disappointing as we are frequently supporting this establishment and always make sure we are compensating them generously for the service. We will no longer be supporting.

Our recent visit to Los Barriles restaurant was marred by the unprofessional behavior of a single staff member. During our visit, we encountered an employee as we were enjoying lunch and at the checkout counter who made racially insensitive comments. This was not our first experience with him, he had previously made similar comments during a previous visit. We didn’t bother to say anything on the first occasion because we know who we are and such comments only reflect the ignorance of the person making them.However, on this occasion he interrupted our lunch and proceeded to make inappropriate comments about the restaurant's diverse clientele. We were disappointed with his behavior, and we decided not to engage any further. However, my husband later informed me that the staff member asked him during checkout if we were headed to rob someone. Why would you ask someone that? Is that a question all customers are subjected to no matter the race.As black professionals we hold ourselves to a higher standard, and we expect the same from the staff of businesses we patronize. Unfortunately, this staff member's behavior was entirely inappropriate for a restaurant with great food and otherwise excellent staff. It is our hope that the management team will take steps to ensure that this type of behavior will not be tolerated in the future.

The food is quite good, service is fast and the prices are reasonable.I only have one issue, and its that I don't think they clean the menus, seats and tables as much as they should. The menus in particular seem constantly dirty. Wash your hands after ordering.

The food was good! I got the Birria tacos and they were large (not street tacos). The beans tasted great! In my opinion, the prices were very reasonable.
I give it a 5 on food. Food has always been amazing ( been at least 30x) and service has always been spotty. The bar being at the front doors sucks. You can't enjoy a beer in the winter due to the cold wind coming in.

This place is fantastic. It's not like other Mexican restaurants I have been to around the Boro. This place makes great food with a great atmosphere. I had the tacos al Pastor, which is carnitas with pineapple and a delicious sauce with onion and cilantro served with rice and beans. The tacos were very flavorful, and the beans were great. My wife had this dish (Can't remember the name of it) that has flank steak, cheese dip and mushrooms. It was good a well. The flank steak was very tender. We will be back. And the waitress was good. Very attentive.
