This is my favorite and an amazing ice cream place especially the birthday cake flavor! that is my go to and tonight after work i decided to stop by and get a quart of just plain birthday cake ice cream. ive gotten a quart a few times before and it has been great but unfortunately tonight i got a quart and was disappointed with how much was in it. i know it sounds dramatic but its $19 for a quart of ice cream so i was disappointed when i got home and it wasnt filled all the way. like there were spots that were just empty and even in the middle of it there were empty spots. in their defense they were pretty busy at the time that i went but for the price i would have liked it to be full. the ice cream still tasted great tho so i cant complain about that!

It's been years since I've been to a marble slab...I believe the last time was when I was a kid and it was at the mall. I'm so happy that this place is still around. The girls here were so friendly! The ice cream was delicious and toppings and add ins are unlimited and generous! It was sooo much, that we ended up sharing. The inside of the store is very clean! I will definitely be making this place a summer stop!

Love this place. Slab mixed ice cream with tons of flavors options and add-in options. I got my family of five all waffle cones/waffle bowls with enough ice cream to satisfy everyone for less than $40, and the add-ins don’t cost additional. The ice cream is great and they offer free water. Employees are friendly and efficient. A bit crowded, but for a quick stop for ice cream it isn’t that bad. Pic is coffee and peanut butter ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl, with chocolate syrup drizzled on top ?Parking: This is a large shared lot that I have never had an issue getting a parking spot at.

We were greeted as soon as we came in and felt welcomed. There was a wide variety of flavors which would be enjoyed by just about anybody and even some unique flavors that we were able to try such as black Walnut, which was definitely interesting in a good way, so there would always be something new each time you visit. The prices for fair and the portion size was generous. The additions for the ice cream in clean jars with no cross-contamination especially if you're worried about a nut allergy. I definitely recommend coming here looking for a nice sweet treat.

Came in on my daughter’s 4th birthday to get her a treat. The store was pretty slow for a Friday night, with only 1 table full and a couple of people ahead of us. It took my daughter a couple minutes to decide what to get - to which the employees seemed quite annoyed about. To be fair, they didn’t know it was her birthday. I could understand if they were busy and there was a line behind us getting frustrated about a 4 year old taking a minute to decide what to get…but there wasn’t. Conversation and engagement with the employees was short and blunt, both young ladies working seemed annoyed that anyone was even in the establishment.Please understand I worked in food for many years, including as a teenager/ young adult myself. I realize there’s things they’d rather be doing than scooping ice cream on a Friday evening, but to act annoyed with customers off the bat is not very appealing. I do not think I will be back to this location as the experience felt uncomfortable for my family. I usually like to tip as well, but the service did not warrant that this time.

Hello Carey:I had previously enjoyed a trip to the Marble Slab until today. It was my favorite spot for ice cream in town. Today I brought my 2 young kids and my wife.When you spend $25 on ice cream for your family. You inevitably have certain expectations. I could have have easily went to any grocery store and picked up 2 pints of Ben and Jerry's for $10 and saved $15. This will be our plan in the future.1.). There were 5 women working this evening. 4 of them were glued to their phone. Carey I don't envy you. You are trying to manage pseudo teenagers and many are addicted to their phones. But you are offering a nice work environment, your staff is shoveling ice cream not coal. Ice cream usually makes folks happy. I assume you are paying a good wage plus tips. Overall I would say it's a great opportunity for a teenager or college student. But, alas maybe asking employees not to do use their cell phones while they working is just asking too much.2.). The person taking our order had her apple ear buds in while we were paying. She was actually on a telephone call while we were trying to tell what we ordered and pay. If your going to pay for a premium product, is it to much to ask for the person taking the order to actual listen to you?3.). The final straw. My 2 yr old dropped her cup of ice cream. She was seated at one of the tables. I had to pry one of the sales staff to come and clean it up. They clearly did not want to be disturbed from checking Instagram.Most places including, but not limited to McDonalds would give you a free ice cream cone if a child dropped it. O NO! Not at the Marble Slab, I had to pay for a replacement cup. Awesome!I asked the salesperson for Carey before we left. She said you were not in the store. I asked if you would be in tomorrow. She said she had no idea.I do have an idea: "Clearly this is the wrong place for us!"Still searching for a nice ice cream store in Murfreesboro! If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Very young girl who couldn't understand the menu. Then I witnessed a conversation of profanity she was discussing about another customer. The "manager " clearly doesn't understand those side conversations shouldn't be happening in front of a line of people. Terrible customer service.
