While I have been a long-time customer of Mission at their Murfreesboro location, I want to spotlight their catering services. We had drop-off catering from Mission at our wedding this month, and I cannot brag on them enough. I've been to too many weddings with expensive catering with cold & unseasoned chicken, and Mission gave us the opposite of that. Two weeks later and our guests STILL are going on about how incredible the food was. The service was also top-notch from the initial tasting, email check-ins, and the day of service. Chaney and her team made us feel so special and even gave us a wedding gift. Highly recommend them for any event you are hosting.

We was having a conference in the area and wanted some BBQ. Found this place on the map and decided to try it out, best decision ever!!!! Ate here every day we was in town and was never disappointed, best food, atmosphere, and the staff was excellent!!!

Great barbecue joint. Can you get better in the area? Yes, but you come here to support the community, the atmosphere and vibe, and to still get pretty good barbecue. The chicken is always great, brisket is hit and miss but very good when its moist, fries are crispy, and turkey is delicious. Will continue to support tgis establishment.

Absolutely slaps. Not an overpriced hipster BBQ joint. Portion size was on par for the pricing. Im fat, ok, im heavy. I like a larger quantity of food when I eat BBQ (or most anything of im being honest), now that you understand the foundation, you'll appreciate the good portions on the plate. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese and fries. The fires were a heaping mountain of freshly fried and delightfully salted potato goodness. The Mac was stringier than a late August spider web hitting your face at night running down the deck steps. The pork was flavorful and moist. I would 1000% mess this place up again. All day fam.

While it’s never a guarantee and normally not expected, it’s absolutely bizarre that this place doesn’t offer a military discount despite riding so hard on the military image in order to market to people. If the Mexican and Indian restaurants down the road can manage to do it, how is a restaurant that uses pictures of service members to sell a product “unable” to give back in that way? Pretty weak.

I was amazed that at 12 o’clock noon they announced please stand for the national anthem and they played and we all sang. They do this daily. They brought samples for us to try as well as since it was my first time there they brought me a strawberry shortcake complementary. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you.
The restaurant we planned to have a lunch at Murfreesboro was super packed, so we searched other options nearby. Glad that we found Mission BBQ! The staff was super friendly and a gentleman (believed to be the owner?) stopped by and explained the menu to us. When he knew that it was our first time coming to the restaurant, he offered a free dessert to three of us! The BBQ was so tender and flavorful, it melted in your mouth. The restaurant decorates with all men and women who serve in law enforcement and military. It gives a pride of respect! We will be back for sure.

The food at Mission BBQ was amazing, but the service made it unforgettable. Blake and his team went above and beyond from the moment we walked in.
Our first server stepped out from behind the counter to personally walk us through the menu. She could tell we were unsure about a few of the sides, so she explained each one carefully and even offered us samples. She also took time to describe all the sauces so we could find what worked best for us.

Friends picked up food from here to take to the funeral home for my brother's funeral. The food was delicious. BBQ, turkey, brisket, mac n cheese...all delicious. Was the perfect food to have for a day of time with family to remember and honor our beloved, Lance. Thank you for the great meal.
