Though my GrubHub driver NEVER got my order, I drove to pick up my food…nearly an hour later and my food was still warm. It’s a small establishment that packs great flavor and proportions. It’s been nearly two decades since I been back home and Ms. Marian DEFINITELY gave me home cooking.
A coworker suggested I come for the wings and catfish. When I went in for the first time, I ordered both. The lemon pepper seasoning didn't stick to my wings; but they were cooked perfectly. My catfish pieces were cooked hard, so they were dry. I heard someone say she didn't want them cooked hard when she ordered after me. Incredible catfish at incredible prices. People complain about service but those people must be entitled and snooty - we felt welcome and cared for. Just because the staff isn’t obsequious and fake friendly doesn’t mean the service is bad. Get the catfish, seriously.
