I’m not a huge fan of Italian food in general, but I always say yes to Olive Garden! Their Seafood Alfredo (with scallops and shrimp) is my all-time favorite—rich, creamy, and comforting. My daughter loves their food too, especially the complimentary breadsticks (she always asks for more!). The waiter, Nick, was excellent. I had the 6 ounce sirloin steak. It was fork tender and cooked exactly as ordered. I have never had a better steak in a restaurant. The other three people were happy with their choices also. I would have liked having an oil and herb dip for the bread, which is offered at another Italian restaurant in town. All in all, though, it was a good meal and a pleasant experience.
I can't say anything about the atmosphere because we ordered our food to take away. It had been a long busy week. Both were exhausted so we just wanted to get takeaway but everything was hot, fresh and in a timely manner. Considering that we ordered 20 minutes before we thought we wanted to eat and it was ready in 20 minutes was amazing and it was on a Saturday. Kudos!
