As a former employee of this location, I will start with the fact that the food is good, not GREAT but it is fast food BBQ after all, im not expecting 12 hour smoked brisket so it gets a thumbs up. However on that note, I will say the serving portion sizes for the potatoes (ie. bacon bits, green onions and cheese) seemed small for what the price is, the portion of meat is fine for sandwiches and potatoes alike. The sides are good as well, especially the baked beans, however more often than not the mac and cheese was very watered down, and difficult to enjoy it to its fullest while eating with the fork and knife provided with the meal. Another great item on the menu is the seasoned fries, alot of fries with great texture and flavor for the price, albeit sometimes they are colder or in the least not always fresh. One major concern I had though was on several occasions I saw coworkers (both when I was on and off shift just getting a meal with my family) vaping on the food, as well as using their phones between orders often with out removing/changing gloves or washing their hand. Both of which are major health concerns and need to be addressed by managment. In addition to this, I along with my family and friends who have eaten at this restaurant have seen kids in the kitchen, this is not only being a food saftey concern for customers, but one as well for the child's saftey as having them sitting next to deep friers, knifes, slippery and dirty surfaces, or even on counter tops. I understand that employees may have kids and need a place to keep them under watch without being too costly (in this case free), but a work enviorment especially that of a kitchen is absolutely no place for childcare, and poses a risk to the child and customers alike. On a more positive note, drinks are good, having pepsi products and unsweet, sweet and fruit tea. The restaurant is fairly clean, tables are almost never dirty, and whenever a mess is made staff cleans it very quickly. Overall would I recomend this restaurant? Probably, but there are certainly areas to improve in cleanliness, saftey and quantity/quality control wise. If I had to recomend an item/items off the menu I would say the beef samwich with baked beans and mac n cheese.

Just picked dinner up from here and it was awful ! On top of being burnt I asked for no sour cream and of course they loaded it down with it anyways ! DO NOT EAT HERE ! I don’t ever leave review but I had to for this . I called to tell them and they acted like I wasn’t telling the truth and wanted me to drive it all the way back to have it fixed I live 25 minute away from ricks on warrior Dr ! Ver disappointed 0 stars !!

I had a great experience at Rick’s BBQ. I interacted with several employees and they were all friendly. The restaurant was clean, stocked, and my food came out quick and hot. I had the beef sandwich and potato salad with fruit tea. I thought everything was good. I will be back.

Just spent $70 bucks here for dinner, food was dry they didn’t give me one single bbq sauce! I called so called manager at 6pm Thursday night, she asked me if I wanted to come back to get sauce, are you kidding me? Then she got smart and said “well what do you want me to do” I will never eat there again ever again! Worst dinner ever, just to add we were regulars .located at 212 warrior Dr Murfreesboro, Tn 37128. Manager was not helpful or friendly and never apologized. I was not offered anything nor did I want anything from them. Lost a customer forever.

Visiting from Atlanta, I stopped here and got the ribs and the baked potato salad. Lots of great smoke on the meat, and that barbecue sauce at the table was superb! Potato salad was wonderful too, I was happy to have a potato salad option that didn't have mustard, although I think that was on the menu as well. Kudos also on the friendliness of the staff! I would definitely come back here again within the 4 days that we will be staying in Murfreesboro .

First off the Rick's that was on Memorial Blvd was GREAT!!! I traveled to the one on Warrior this evening and went through the drive thru, made my order and told them twice no green onions on my baked potatoes and I ordered french fries also. When I got my order it did not have any fries so I went in to see why? They told me they did not hear me but I could buy them now, I say no thank you and left for home only to get there and find out green onions was on the potatoes. So if you go to this place check and double check your order.
I didn't get a chance to take photos because it was too delecious! Their pulled pork is amazing! The fries were hot,crispy and well seasoned. The hot bbq sauce is delecious. I will absolutely be going back for more.

I stopped here hoping to get some decent bbq but instead I got hair in my food instead Brought the food back in never took a bite out of it. And was asked where is the hair. And was told the beef is stringy u sure it was hair ? . I just left the plate on the counter and left its 100 outside i walked across the street because I’m a truck driver u think I would make something up about some hair and it sure wasn’t mine I had on a hat and my hair is cut short
