As a former employee of this location, I will start with the fact that the food is good, not GREAT but it is fast food BBQ after all, im not expecting 12 hour smoked brisket so it gets a thumbs up. However on that note, I will say the serving portion sizes for the potatoes (ie. bacon bits, green onions and cheese) seemed small for what the price is, the portion of meat is fine for sandwiches and potatoes alike. I had a great experience at Rick’s BBQ. I interacted with several employees and they were all friendly. The restaurant was clean, stocked, and my food came out quick and hot. I had the beef sandwich and potato salad with fruit tea. I thought everything was good. I will be back.

Visiting from Atlanta, I stopped here and got the ribs and the baked potato salad. Lots of great smoke on the meat, and that barbecue sauce at the table was superb!
Potato salad was wonderful too, I was happy to have a potato salad option that didn't have mustard, although I think that was on the menu as well.
Kudos also on the friendliness of the staff!
I would definitely come back here again within the 4 days that we will be staying in Murfreesboro...
