Very strange dough way overcooked!

I had lunch there today. The dough was hard and not your usual pizza dough for a calzone.

I was the only person there. I orderec a small calzone and they gave me a large. $24.00 for a Calzone and Coke? I got ripped off!!!

Ordered a sausage sub and got something horrible on bread. The marinara tasted like tomato soup. This is definitely not an authentic Italian establishment. I wanted to ask for my money bank and I should’ve waste of $12. I could’ve went to Walmart brought the sausage for four dollars bought the mozzarella for three and some good bread for two and when I had an amazing sandwich compared to what I received.

Ehh? Just ok meatball sub taste like chef boyardi bread bun lame. Pizza ok , cheese taste like a mix of low moisture . Was really good when opened at first location , i wont try again. I feel like most restaurants use either cheap ingredients or don't make from scratch anymore. Ive had plenty of ny pizza in NY.

Pizza has gone downhill. Charging of pies is highway robbery. If you get 3 veggie toppings, you pay more than the veggie pie with 6 toppings. I paid $35 for a pizza. Next time I will fly to NYC, it will be cheaper. Also, no Italians working there anymore.

Pretty rough interior but service was great. Quick and inexpensive lunch. Beverage machine was put of order and had to fill your drink from 2-liter bottles. Cooked an entire gluten-free pizza so my wife could get 2 slices. That was unheard of. Great attitudes, okay food, rough physical appearance.

Second time here so we can be pretty sure it's not just a fluke. Very good food. He got the chicken Parm sandwich and fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Crispy outside and juicy inside. 2 big fillets. The fries, crinkle, were also cooked right.

There are 2 salad options. One is the ceaser which I prefer. There's the Greek salad, if you enjoy olives! 😂 I got the spaghetti with meat sauce. Plenty of sauce, hate when my s'hetti is dry. Seasoned well. Huge portions. Yum!

The server was on the ball and friendly. He even remembered what we had ordered the only other time we'd been there. Dining area was neat and tidy. Bathrooms are clean.

Needless to say, we'll definitely return.

I've had pizza from here a few times and it's been my favorite NY style pizza, until yesterday.
I ordered a Margherita pizza, which is one of my favorites and it just didn't live up to my expectations at all.
Flavor was bland, cheese was rubbery, it wasn't warm when door dash delivered it, which is weird since we're not even a half of a mile from the restaurant. I could hardly bite anything off of the pieces I ate.
I will likely try them again but this time was a big fail for me, sadly.

Large supreme $24. No big deal. Looked great, but had no flavor at all. None. Extremely disappointed. One and done for me.
