It was quiet while we ate there but the staff was friendly and nice. Our server was busy and promptly brought us our when it was ready. We had ordered the hibachi grill but didn't have to sit at the grill, we chose to eat in the dining area. We got ample food with our order. Calamari for appetizer was delicious and cooked perfectly. Plus soup and salad with standard hibachi order.

We dined at Samurai's last night for the first time at the recommendation of a friend for a great hibachi restaurant in Murfreesboro. We were celebrating our twin daughters' 18th birthday. Our food was amazing and the service was spectacular. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and upscale and not dark and gloomy like many hibachi places are. We were served very generous portions and the food was very good. Both daughters were brought huge bowls of ice cream at the end for their birthday. We will definitely be back!

I had the filet minion and shrimp hibachi. Cooked to perfection. The cook was very talented and he was friendly as well. Our waitress was prompt and friendly as well. Very large portions to bring home to eat another meal the next day! I definitely recommend coming here to eat. Very clean and beautiful on inside. The fried rice was fantastic! Also had a double chocolate martini and it was super great as well. Definitely worth the money for it all!! Now I'm ready for a long winters nap! Lol

Dude we had to pay 135$ for what turned out to be greasy, mediocre food and a tired performance. The chef leaned on corny recycled jokes that might make first timers chuckle, but it was painful to sit through while others laughed at the same old routine. The whole experience felt more like paying for a gimmick than an actual meal. Definitely not worth the price I left feeling ripped off and frustrated. Never again. It’s not the restaurant’s fault, maybe just the people who fall for it and sadly I did.

We were in Murfreesboro decided to eat lunch, had a table side Hibachi meal. Shrimp and side of scallops, vegetables one fried rice one white rice, they served fried rice on both. Seafood was old and smelled bad, tasted fishy. Charged for a whole meal when ordered a side of scallops 4 with nothing else. I wish we would have waited until we got to Tullahoma could have eaten fresh delicious seafood at Yamato Tullahoma.

Usually I love this place but something made me feel not too well and we had to love immediately. There was a special sushi roll covered n smothered in too much mayo sauce. The Philly roll wrap was too chewy and tasted unappealing. The rice tasted days old. My wife had the polar opposite experience thankfully with a simple honey chicken meal. Also… atmosphere…I feel like it’s time this place maybe cleaned up. The ceiling is dusty, peeling wallpaper, it feels sticky and overall unclean.
The service is SLOW! They are consistently slow to take your order, and slow to bring you your check making you wait very long to eat here.
