I hate that it took me so long to try this place, it was amazing! On this side of town, it’s tough to find good BBQ (and that’s locally owned).
I chose the small platter so I could try a little bit of everything (because when it comes to BBQ, why limit yourself?); there were no losers.
The pulled pork, cheese sausage and the brisket were excellent. Even the beans, coleslaw and pickles were great!
Long story short, I’ll definitely be back-SOON!

Bless y’all’s hearts! We ordered up enough food to feed a small family reunion, ‘cause we’re chubby folks and ain’t ashamed of it. And every last bite was slap-yo-mama good. As a Maryland transplant pining for real Southern BBQ, I just wanna say: y’all made this homesick belly happy. My jeans are beggin’ for mercy, but my soul is satisfied.

Our first BBQ joint as we set some roots in Murfreesboro and we hit the jackpot! This restaurant is inviting and serves awesome brisket, pulled pork, sausages and AWESOME BEANS! Oh my goodness they were great. Sadly no fried pickles but we don’t need much of a reason to come back.
