EXTREMELY unprofessional store visit that I had today at 3:40pm on Friday December 12th 2025 at the Smoothie King Location on
1970 Medical Center Pkwy f, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

I came into the store to get a smoothie , a regular one that I order almost every single day. The ingredients were blendly poorly and I had asked them to remake it. The employee Paige told me she wouldn’t be able to blend it she would have to remake the smoothie. I did raise my voice when I was standing at the door and told them not to worry about remaking it and told them I didn’t want to inconvenience them.
I came back inside a couple of minutes later to request a refund and I returned the smoothie to them. The employee had her back turned at me and we shared the following dialogue:

Paige: (store employee) : there was no reason for you to give so much attitude and act a complete fool”

Me: I completely agree I apologize for the way I acted

Paige: no response

Me: I feel bad that I raised my voice and I am really sorry for that I’m not sure how else you want me to rectify the situation because I am trying to make it right by apologizing to you.

Paige (raising her voice and escalating the situation) : i don’t know what you were doing acting a complete fool over a smoothie, like it is not a big deal you’re making a big deal out of nothing it’s just a smoothie that is just crazy”

Me: I am trying to apologize to you I don’t know what else you want me to say but I do feel like the way that you handled the situation is considered unprofessional and you could have handled the situation differently.

At this point I am starting to shake and I started crying. I really dislike confrontation. Despite my attempts to apologize, the employee continued to escalate the situation using inappropriate language towards me. I do acknowledge the fact I did raise my voice while I was standing by the door to leave, I believe the employee’s conduct was unprofessional and unacceptable. I don’t believe that I deserved to be spoken to in this manner regardless of the circumstances. I left feeling upset and extremely shaken by the interaction.

Employee made it a point to ask me foam or plastic for the cup, I requested plastic...and then a few minutes later, proceeded to hand me my smoothie in a foam cup. Incredibly annoying.

I get the simplest thing and its never done right . I just dont understand why I cant get what i ordered how i ordered it . I hate when my smoothie is icey and taste like water more than the flavor .

I placed an order through the app for the bundle deal-one avocado toast & 20oz treat smoothie +espresso +collagen and 32 oz Hulk with additions. It came out to just under $30 because of the additions. They probably didn’t add espresso to my smoothie-no trace of espresso flavor or color. The worst part is they prepared the avocado toast by spreading a layer of chocolate hazelnut spread first-obviously scraped it off and then put avocado on top instead of getting a new piece of toast. I wouldn’t write a review if the phone worked and I could call the store or message through the app. Their phone number listed is disconnected. The toast looked fine at first glance but the combo of Nutella and avocado is super gross. Unfortunately didn’t know until I got to work. So much for breakfast.

I placed an order for one smoothie through the app, which told me my smoothie would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I ordered at 9:37 but did not receive my order until after 10:00. I have never had to wait that long at a Smoothie King for one smoothie. This is not the location I frequent, and this experience will ensure I do not return to this location.
