I went here with a buddy of mine a couple months ago as my phone is working again i can now review it. The food was superb though the mango sticky rice could have been more heavy on the mango, all in all the food was good, just ask for extra mango next time

Just stick with the stir fried stuff and it’s good.

We ordered to go, the staff was very friendly and the food was ready when I got there. The order was correct and tasted really good. I would recommend if you are craving Thai also the crab ragoons are excellent

Been on the hunt for a good Thai spot but still have yet to find one! My family and I tried Som Tum Thai this past Saturday and unfortunately it was a bit lacking.

First off I will say when you first walk in the smell of soap hits you in the face. Could be a good or bad thing depending on if you’re sensitive to strong scents. I just personally found it off putting but others may like find it appealing.

I will say our waitress was very kind and attentive during our meal. Other than that I feel like the rest of my experience was negative.

I will say out of my family I am the pickiest eater so it’s harder for me to find places I like eating at compared to them. They’re a lot more lenient when it comes to restaurants we try.

At Som Tum Thai I ordered the Thai tea to drink, crab Rangoon for appetizer then vegetable pad Thai and panang curry for my main course. Unfortunately I didn’t really enjoy any of it.

The Thai tea tasted like it came out of a bottle or can I could purchase at any Asian grocery market. The size is also very small. The crab Rangoon was ok but lacked filling. Then the vegetable pad thai was very salty, I’m not sure if it’s whatever they use to increase the spice level because my sister got the same thing but no spice and she said hers tasted fine. Whereas mine came out salty.

I think the only item that was somewhat good was the panang curry. I had no complaints about that dish. But as for the rest, unfortunately it lacked flavor or had too much (salty) flavor.

I’m sure my family wouldn’t mind coming back but for me personally I think I will continue to look for other good Thai restaurants in the area.

Small and overpriced shrimp fried rice , pad Thai is the best way to go

Without a doubt the best Thai place in town. Me and my wife have made this our favorite place to eat, period. Big servings, great flavor, nothing else compares.

This restaurant is a hidden gem on S. Chuch. With so many incredible Thai options on this side of town, down be afraid to venture out and give Som Tum a shot! Salt and pepper wings are a must!

This place is disgusting I went in for a quick bite bc I had a concert to go to I ordered the pad kee Mao and it was extremely salty and the meat had a strange taste. I will not recommend coming here unless your taste buds are absolutely fried!! Go to Pad Thai cafe instead they are wayyy better their lemon grass and pho is superb!! This place is awful and the prices aren’t great either. Whoever is cooking must be really old and not aware of how much salt they are putting in the food. Just by looking at this place you know it’s bad and the tinted windows make it ominous and untrustworthy!!

Lovely place! Everything on the menu is delightful! If you like food with strong flavor you will love it.

Ordered the Pho. The broth tastes like a bland chicken bouillon cube was mixed with water. Meat portions were incredibly small. The portions of the sides of lime, onion, bean sprout, and jalapeños were small too. Definitely won’t be ordering the Pho again. I usually get it from another local place that costs significantly less and the portion is at least twice as much. Only ordered here because it was closer. Had to add so much extra stuff from my spice and sauce cabinet to make it taste anything like Pho is supposed to taste like. Will be back to try other dishes though because the service at pickup was pleasant.

This place gets better every time I eat here. The cooks put love and care into their dishes and it certainly shows. They're amazing.

This place used to be so good and have great service but it’s lacking as of lately. They have teens running the place in the front of the house and in the kitchen. When you make a Togo order please check the menu and confirm your order when you make it on the phone. I Ordered take out and when I called the girl took my order and said there was no level of spicy when it says it clearly states so in the menu. I looked up the menu again when I got home after picking up my food and called back to confirm so I know for the future if I return and she blamed it on me saying I must have been talking too fast bc she didn’t understand what I meant. Definitely not true bc when I called it took her a min to great me bc she was checking someone out and trying to multitask at the same time. They got to get it together.

Excellent food. I discovered this place by accident as the hibachi place next door was closed. So happy I did. The spring rolls and bang bang shrimp were great. Quick service as well.
