They are apparently operating a ghost kitchen for Door Dash called Shake Bar. Added as a second order, and the driver picked up our dinner first and then went to Shake Bar and was there for at least 15 minutes waiting. For two milkshakes. And we ordered the simple ones. We ended up having to cancel the shakes, as our dinner was just sitting there getting cold. Very frustrating.

Emily was very pleasant today my burger was fresh and good. My daughter chicken strip meal. The order was incorrect, however Emily made sure it was corrected with out hesitation. She came to our table and made sure she was good. Good customer service is hard to find these days. So I appreciate it.

I grew up with Steak-N-Shake in the Peoria, Illinois area back in the 1970s, and my family LOVED them. I even proudly worked for them in the late 70s. When they came to Murfreesboro we were excited and loved eating there. We hadn't eaten inside the restaurant for a year or so and we were very disappointed to find that we were being greeted by a kiosk instead of a friendly employee. No greeting when we came in and no assistance with the kiosk was offered. After finally placing our orders we went and got our drinks. In getting our condiments together we found there were no cups for the ketchup, no napkins, and the table was outright filthy and sticky and nobody was cleaning the many other dirty tables. I had to take some of the paper towels roll and a piece of ice to clean the table. When our number was called there was only a half-hearted attempt to make sure we had the right order, and no thank you, have a nice day, or do you need anything else...the whole experience was far and away one of the worst we have ever had when going to a fast food establishment. I'll NEVER eat at Steak-N-Shake again.
