Good, home cooked food, at a decent price. Don't go here if you're looking for something new. They do good food, nothing fancy. Everyone here is so nice and friendly. It's typically filled with regulars, and lots of veterans. Closed on the weekends.

Mac n cheese is life for me. I came for the squash and I obviously ordered Mac and cheese too( Mac and cheese is life). The squash was so good I barely touched it. I savoured every bite. Also the BBQ chicken I highly recommend. Very welcoming environment.

Small town feel meets decent prices and local connections. A great place to go to meet long time locals.

Really enjoyed our entire experience at Sylvan Park tonight! Food (catfish) was great, service was great, atmosphere really made it fun! It was a small town experience with friendly banter between patrons and with staff.

At 85, I know excellent food. Theirs is just the best around. I crave their country ham. I rate their cornbread dressing along with my mother's. I especially enjoy their slaw and cornbread. Other vegetables are just fine as well. Of course, they have delicious chocolate cream and coconut cream pies. I go about 10:30 and can get my ham and some other goodies and then when 11 comes around I can order at least two plates to bring home. It is always a delight. I surely like all the ladies who serve! I hope they are there as long as I live. (I started enjoying them in Nashville in their original spot in the 1970s! How fortunate that they wound up here in Murfreesboro1)

Will not be back ever. ...... they can't handle a party of 6 people.
After waiting 15 min for tables. We ordered our food. And were asked to give up one of our tables which were to small to begin with. 2 in our party got held up but on the way and the food was ordered for them as well. So the cashier came over and basically told us if we couldn't move to one table. We needed to leave. So we left wished could give less than a star.
