What a fantastic dining experience! The atmosphere is calm and low-key, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner. The staff and managers were top-notch—friendly, attentive, and made everything feel easy. My wife had the “Oscar” and raved about it, and I had the halibut—it was cooked perfectly and really flavorful. The restaurant has that nice mix of elegant without being stuffy, perfect for a night out or a special occasion. Elijah, our server, was amazing—friendly, professional, and attentive the whole evening. He really made the experience memorable. Everything about our visit—from the atmosphere to the service to the food—was top-tier. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great seafood, excellent service, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

I don’t typically write negative reviews, but I wanted to share our experience at Chop House in Murfreesboro, TN as we celebrated my 50th birthday.
We had a reservation for our party of 13 and still experienced a wait to be seated. While we understand large parties can be challenging, it felt as though our server may have been stretched thin managing multiple big tables at once. From the time we were seated until we finished, the entire experience lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes, which felt especially long given the service issues we encountered.
Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. My husband’s $60 steak was overcooked, and my son’s girlfriend’s shrimp and noodles were served cold. With a total bill of $545, we were hoping for hot meals and attentive service, especially for such a special occasion.
We have enjoyed Chop House in the past, which made this experience particularly disappointing. I hope this feedback is helpful and that future guests celebrating milestones receive the level of service the restaurant is known for.
Calendar (sp)... absolutely wonderful young lady! Very engaging and attentive. The food was on point, the shrimp bisque was top flight, the atmosphere was perfect for a little lunchtime conversation and the manager was well versed in hospitality!

We had a wonderful evening. The restaurant was very busy but well organized, and the service was excellent. The food was great overall. I didn’t love the side dish, but the steak was outstanding, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and overall it was a very good experience. I would definitely come back.
