This was my first time ordering Honey Baked Ham from the Murfreesboro location. It was completely dry with no sugar on the crust. I have been ordering for years and was disappointed in the lack of consistency from one location to another.

Night before Thanksgiving , one hour until close. One check out counter for non”pre paid”. Two for prepaid. If prepaid is no line, no offer to help anyone else. No one asked me when I called if I wanted to prepay? Line for no prepay down the sidewalk, and employee at the front door yelling for
Prepaid to come to front.
Been in line for 35 minutes.
Do better….

It took like 3-4 times to get someone on the phone. Tried to order a pan of turkey for pickup (to-go). The lady on the phone rudely said they're not taking pre orders. And she repeated herself several times. We are willing to spend money here but they wont take it. My wife had the same negative experience. Word of advice: when a customer calls and asks questions take the time to answer their questions without being rude and repeating yourself. People are genuinely curious and this is why they're asking questions. A kind and polite response goes a long way and those people may end up becoming long-term customers. However, when you're rude and say the same thing over and over they aren't going to come to your place of business. Work on your customer service skills!

I really wanted to order a ham for an occasion. The online ordering did not work and the phone call went to a full voicemail mailbox. I really like Honey Baked Hams and was sad to discover there is no practical way to order for a pick up.

Shocked!!!! I was going to go elsewhere this year, ( as I always ordered here but the last two years the experience was aweful and i promised myself not to return.) But I was told the staff is better so I braved up. I went in the store to order my smoked turkey knowing I would leave due to lack of staff caring and all the goofing around they had dine in the past. I was so very pleasantly surprised!!!! The team was so friendly, helpful and even gave great pickup advice. They treated me like they cared and gave me confidence my order would be available as promised. I noticed they were busy with customers but each one mattered. I noticed their like attire which was so nice. I believe my order pick-up will be a positive experience because of this experience. I actually got in my car feeling like a weight was lifted off me!

I sent my husband for a small turkey breast. I didn’t know they presliced from the main supplier. Neither did My husband. No one offered to explain ( the owner and two staff present getting out a large order on a Sunday afternoon. So My husband just left since All were preoccupied and not helpful or encouraging questions. So I called back and asked for the manager. Cain came to the phone and I owned that I had not been clear to my husband and apologized could he please explain to me what they did have. After a quick explanation that was a challenge to follow Cain explained to me if you want to Buy it you can order it and it will be ready in five minutes otherwise I have a order to get out. I am a thirty plus year customer. Cain upon my arrival to get my turkey breast I spoke with Cain. He was not very receptive even though I apologized for not being clear to my husband , and told him I did not appreciate being treated that way on the phone. That it was very rude and a paying customer should not be treated that way. I have defended this owner when others spoke of how rude he was. I won’t defend him any longer. The two staff members could give Cain lessons on respecting walk-in customers. Sadly he would likely not be receptive. 30 + year customer - done.
