My truck broke down last night (11/11/2024) from overheating. I tried to get it home just a few miles away but it just wouldn't make it. I pulled into the Waffle House at 1928 S Church St in Murfreesboro to let the engine cool down and figure out what I was going to do. Thankfully your staff on 2nd shift, Harleigh & Xavier said it would be fine to leave it at the restaurant until the tow truck was able to get it towed to the shop. Waffle House is definitely an all-time favorite. My girl and I share a meal every time and there's plenty of food for the both of us. Affordable price too. We often commute to Illinois and there's not a lot of waffle houses in Illinois, but along the way that's where we go every time.
It's Waffle House. You know what you're getting, not fine dining but good home cooking from friendly staff. The All Star special will keep you full until supper. The eggs were good, the hash browns browned, the sausage spicy, and the waffle fine. It was all served hot. An American breakfast staple!
