Wasabi Japanese Steak House

We are from Chattanooga visiting Murfreesboro for the weekend. Wasabi Japanese was very good and conveniently close to our hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We called our order in and it was ready to pick up when we got there!

Great service. The food was good every time I visited this establishment, and the chicken fingers for my little guy's kids' meals were exceptional .

That helps with a picky eater. Friendly staff.

They need to change the carpet, but still a meal I enjoy after many years. Service is very good and Sunday Habachi is a great price.

The biggest issue with this place is cleanliness. It’s got to be the dirtiest place I’ve ever eaten in that has steak house in the name. The food taste good, but your stomach will reject it within 1-2 hours. Service is the worst you’ll find in Murfreesboro, TN. The guy who did our Mother’s Day Meal for a party of 12 was beyond rude to me and my brother in law to the point we requested to cancel our food order. This is the absolute worst place to eat in Murfreesboro, TN.

Me and my family went to wasabi to celebrate a birthday. Service was terrible. We received one refill and had to track staff down for drinks. The food was great but that was about it. To conclude the meal we go to pay and we were told the card didn’t work. We check the account and sure enough there is a charge for the meal but yet the cashier is aggressively demanding money.. as we try to explain they become more hostile demanding pay.. we scramble around to pay in cash. So now we have paid twice. Hoping the charge would fall off. Unfortunately it didn’t and the restaurant is giving us the run around. I was informed to call on Tuesday as that’s the only day a manager can help.. this place is ass and I will never go back.. at this point I fully believe they added the cash as a tip and used the card payment as payment.. since literally no one is willing or able help I have to believe it’s theft.

I went once with a big group and we did the hibachi dinner. It was fun and very good. Not cheap but good portion. I went back and this time sat in a booth and only ordered sushi with a friend. It is the best sushi I had in Murfreesboro so far. We ordered 3 rolls and we loved all three of them. They all had their own unique flavor. I would say though that the sitting area that’s not around the hibachi isn’t very nice. And the bathroom floor was sticky. But the sushi was great and reasonable price for the portion.

This was the first time trying this place since we always go to another sushi place. I was very disappointed, sushi tasted stale and worst dessert (volcano brownie). Basically trashed half of the food, never again!

First time here. Wish it was in Florida so good.
