West 22 Tacos

This was my first experience at west 22 tacos. I had heard good things about the restaurant but after my experience I wonder if they were talking about some other place. When I walked in the building I was punched in the face by the overwhelming smell of chemicals. Almost like a nail polish but worse. When you go to order and examine the menu you’ll notice that it is almost five dollars for one taco. What a ridiculous price. I ordered the elote, carnitas nachos, and a pork belly taco. The whole affair cost about 33 dollars. Firstly the elote, bland. I have had better elote from a truck for way less than what they would charge. Next the carnitas nachos, I will say the actual carnitas tasted good but everything else on the nachos was absolutely disgusting. The chips were stale there was a chipotle honey that was just out of place. The black beans I suspect had been sitting in a warmer with water in it that they neglected to drain because the entire dish was covered in a black watery liquid. The pork belly taco was bland and not worth mentioning in more than a sentence. Overall the experience was one I wish I could take back. If you are in the market for Mexican fare, seek elsewhere.

would like to give zero stars but that's not an option.
They did not give me the food that I PAID for. I ordered one nashville hot taco and one nashville hot chicken and they only gave me the nashville hot chicken and said they wouldn't give me the taco because they put the chicken together. I don't understand why they couldn't have just gave me the tortilla and toppings. I asked for the manager and they said there wasn't any available. Ridiculous and unacceptable behavior by the team. I will not be coming back.

Fantastic!!! Fresh and amazing food- Employee that took order was friendly...
Definitely stopping at that place again, SOON!

Best tacos in Murfreesboro! Have had tacos in the major cities in Texas (including Austin) and this is as good or better. The Korean BBQ taco is the best on the menu.

The Birria Ramen Noodle Bowl is my absolute favorite! The meat is very tender and the noodles and soup taste so delicious. I get this every time. I've tried other things and it's always tasted great.
