I’m not sure if it was the time of day or what the reason was, but the food didn’t look or taste appealing. My 6 year old didn’t even like the food and he eats anything you put in front of him. Our waiter was a young boy, who was very polite, no complaints on him! My family won’t be returning though.

Large menu.Food is great. My 11 year old would eat their sushi every day. My wife says the salmon was tender juicy and flavorful. First time I had sake and it was good. Our chef was entertaining and made it enjoyable. He even guessed that it was my wife's birthday.

Overall, the food wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t live up to the price point. I ordered the Hibachi Steak Dinner with a side of gyoza, totaling around $59 (including delivery). The steak dinner came with a salad and scallion soup—both were fine, though the soup was a bit bland.

The menu said the dish would include two pieces of shrimp, but it ended up being nearly half the meal. Unfortunately, the shrimp was extremely overcooked. I also requested the steak rare, but it arrived more like medium. The gyoza was decent, and I really enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with it.

If this had been a cheaper meal, I’d chalk it up to an average “hit-or-miss” kind of place. But at this price, I expected better quality.

Enjoyed the food! The family enjoyed the sushi and hibachi. Potions were appropriate for the $. The restaurant could use a cosmetic refresher.

Really liked the place until tonight
Whoever this waiter is needs to be fired
Ordered a alcohol drink and our food

Food came and was not as ordered
Never brought out the kids meal
Never got the drink that was ordered

When asked about it he says he dont make the drinks
Then I asked could he check on it again he said he dont make the drinks with an attitude

Then asked about the kids order and asked could he check on that as well

Dude got hateful and acted like he wanted to throw hands
Then we decided to walk out and as we were talking to the manager the dude was still running his mouth laughing about it ...was really thinking this guy wanted to throw hands....manager didn't do squat

I really liked this place until tonight and won't be back

My family and I celebrated my daughter’s high school graduation yesterday and this place did a PHENOMENAL job with my group. This was all of our first time coming here and we didn’t leave disappointed. My group originally had a reservation set for 1:30 BUT graduation ended a lot sooner than we expected. I called to see if they could bump my reservation up by a whole hour and a half. No worries. Once we started to arrive all of my guests weren’t arriving too (which is a stressful situation), or at least would have been if I would’ve eaten somewhere else. My group was large and their whole team took care of us. Did I mention they only have 4 hibachi grills and they gave my party two of them. They are so accommodating and I couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality they showed us yesterday. From our server (Candy) who held it down with my large group, from the cook who dealt with the confusion of my guests switching seats, from the owner Xaio who made sure we were all taken care of. The food was great and even my picky son thought so. Thank you to everyone again for making my baby girls day special.

Hate taking off a star because the service has always been great but we have more than once been disappointed in the quality of the sushi rice and fish. At the very least, they should nail the quality of the rice. It's understandable it might be hard to get fresh sushi fish in Middle TN but dry and unpleasant sushi rice??

We've been coming here for a few years, and what keeps us coming back is the freshness of the sushi and the caring, thoughtful, and sweet atmosphere. Trinity was our server today and continues to represent the great experiences we've had in this beautiful restaurant.
