They close at 2:00 pm. Food is good, but need to stay open later to accommodate everyone in Newbern.

A wholesome down to earth cafe with bar stools. We need something like that in our home town. I only know of one but we need a restaurant with bar stools in our town that serves good burgers too. Nana's Cafe was good.

My family and I recently moved to Newbern. I myself have lived in Dyersburg for the last 5 years. Before that i lived in Newbern and would eat at Dave's every couple of weeks at least. It was always great food and a fun atmosphere. It was one of the best burgers you would find around here. When we went in there a few weeks ago the food was mediocre and the service was terrible. Id rather drive an extra 10 minutes to Trimble and eat at the diner there for the same price.
