Placed on online order through their website. Came into the restaurant when it was supposed to be ready (35min after ordering) and no one would come to the checkout area to see me. After 5 or so minutes, someone came by to say they are still working on my order and it would be out shortly. Interesting seeing as though they didn't even ask my name. This was on a Saturday night and the place was less than a quarter full, which should tell you all you need to know. After waiting outside for another 10 minutes, I go back inside and a manager asks me for the name of my order. I tell him the order name, which he couldn't find on his device, had to pull out his phone, confirmed I placed an order, then asked me what all I ordered. Long story short I wanted another 15-20 minutes then went back inside and told him to cancel the order so I wouldn't miss putting my kids down. At this point it had been 1 hour and 20 minutes since ordering one double order of mixed fajitas and a side of queso. That's it. That was the order. The manager proceeded to come around back to hand me my order while sternly getting in my face asking why I couldn't wait two minutes? I said I have been waiting for over an hour and as we are walking through the restaurant he said no, that's not true and left me confused. As I walked out I said what's sad is how defensive you got and telling me I'm wrong, yet here I am tipping you. It was a clear message they don't take accountability and don't need the business. Recently moved to the area and will definitely choose Mexi-Cali in cool springs every time now.

To enhance the overall customer experience, I recommend the management implement more rigorous oversight of the staff responsible for table maintenance, specifically the prompt clearing of used dishware following customer departure, as lingering dirty dishes detract from the dining experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Campo Azul in Nolensville! Roberto made me the best michelada I’ve had in a long time—perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The carne asada was also delicious, cooked just right and full of authentic taste. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

This place filled my home sickness for great carne asada tacos. It reminded me of home which is Chicago. Service was excellent. To the owner don’t be afraid to express your culture in your food. Trust me it’s a lot of people that appreciate authentic flavor! Skip those gringos lol

Campo azul is the best mexican restuarant in Nolo. Best happy hour, and best overall staff. Caboose is a terrible competitor with only beer specials and not very consistent food. Titos is the other big restuarant, but no happy hour and an overall busier place
