Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint

I ordered a family meal that was supposed to serve 2-4. It came with 2 sides. I asked if I could have cornbread instead of buns since I am sensitive to gluten. They only gave me 2 pieces of cornbread and counted that as one of my sides and I didn't get any buns. The barbecue tasted fine but was very dry.

Very much a mid-experience. 6:30 on a Tuesday night, dining room half empty. About 8 or 9 tables were dirty. They were out of 4 meats. Took 25 minutes to get our food. Cole slaw was warm. Best thing we had was the Mac and cheese. Not sure if they were short-staffed or what, but a pretty disappointing experience overall.

So, BBQ is dear to heart, and a restaurant must line up to the good ol' KC bbq! I have to say Martin's BBQ was delicious, tender, seasoned pretty good, and the sauce was just right. I got The Big Brother. The Ho-Cake (cornbread pancake) and mac n cheese were near perfect. I will be making the ho-cakes for Thanksgiving. The only con was that the cole slaw was not slawing; too watery (perhaps too much buttermilk?), needed more seasoning (pepper), more miracle whip, more vinegar, a little sugar or not and it wouldn't hurt to add some onions. Also, it would benefit the restaurant to add rib tips to the menu...I pray you all are not throwing the ends out?...say it ain't so?. Otherwise, the bbq was awesome. Love the diversity and down the earth environment. Enjoyed the aesthetics. I am looking forward to visiting again in the future.

I’ve been a customer for a while but I’m very disappointed with my last visits, the food is always cold especially the loaded potatoes.
I do appreciate that they rectified and when I told them that my food was cold they immediately brought new one.

Ordered the Big Brother Sampler 6oz brisket and 4 ribs. The ribs were like trying to eat shoe leather. They had so many cartilage pieces. We'll that was the last $32.91 Martin's is getting from me.

Young guy blonde hair at the register close to pick up (it might even be pick up area) has no manners at all. No greeting or anything. Had me waiting in line for food. Then when I see him not doing anything he backs up so I couldnt see him…. The young lady at the register was sweet though , keep her around!

We really like Martin's here in Nolensville. There is one thing I wish all my favorite restaurants would do - turn down the music!

They were out of ribs and brisket but the pork shoulder was amazing!!!!! Fries were incredible salted and the Mac and cheese was out of the world!!!

Cute bbq joint. Friendly staff. The brisket sandwich was yummy. I am from TX so I appreciate properly cooked brisket. One of the better bbq restaurants in the area.
