The location is clean and welcoming. Music volume was a good range - the gentleman working the register was very kind, informational, and patient as I had my mother with me who is quite indecisive.The food itself was solid. I do wish that the enchilada sauce they used was not so thin, a touch of viscosity would serve it well. Also serving more of the enchilada sauce on a burrito that size would serve well as I felt the amount put was just not enough for the size of burrito.Overall the meat was well seasoned and everything tasted great. Very hot salsa was not that hot.Will eat here again.

Stopped by Oscar’s for lunch. Staff was friendly, my husband even found a fellow watch aficionado behind the counter. ? Got the birria tacos and refried beans. Both were excellent. Birria tacos were large for the money, fresh, and delicious. Consommé was flavorful. Would definitely visit again.

Delicious and tasty. Nachos were very good. Chips fresh and crisp. Not greasy or stale. They held up to the topping which were the perfect amount. The chips did not get soggy, and the beef was tender. Fish taco was a pleasant surprise most suck in Nashville, this one was very good. It was just a basic authentic fish taco. Fresh and delicious, without trying to do to much. The wet burrito was very good also. Not overseasoned and not dry. Very good balance of flavors. I could pratically taste every ingerdient. Very well done.

I have just one complaint and it’s big—someone is cleaning the deep fat fryer with a soapy cleanser (Fabuloso??) and not getting it all out, so when I order the taco salad, the entire tortilla tastes of soap. It really bad. This has been going on for years. Everything else is great—no problem. But the taste of Fabuloso when you’re trying to eat a taco salad is honestly just horrible. We place a to-go order maybe twice a year now and this problem never gets better—usually I end up forgetting which is why I then order it again. We’ve switched to ordering from the Smyrna location instead, which sucks bc that’s a much longer drive. But no issue with soapy flavor at that location. Genuinely, I don’t know why no one else has noticed this or done something about it. It’s crazy. You can’t miss it.

Breakfast burrito with egg, cheese, potatoes (hashbrowns), and bacon was a good size for the price. They were quick with our pickup order and the burrito was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Wish they added some other condiments inside such as ketchup, sour cream, etc, but was still good as it was made. We will be ordering breakfast burritos from there again!

While I was in town last week from Destin, FL, a friend of mine (originally from NM, living in Nashville) raved about the shredded beef tacos in the fried taco shell & took me there for lunch. He said Oscar's is the only place in the Nashville area serving those kind of tacos that remind him of home. He was right on, and they were absolutely delish! I'm back home in Destin and am researching places here that serve something similar for when he comes to see me here!
