First time here. As a DF & GF person I was able to modify the chicken salad wrap to no wrap and no cheese. I feel the portion was large and could have took half home. I opted for fruit as a side but it didn’t come with the meal. I choose not to say anything because I was already stuffed. My husband ordered the yard bird sale. It definitely could have been two meals. He was able to get different sauces with each item. We tried to order the parm garlic sauce on the menu but that wasn’t available. Boneless wings were soggy. We ordered fountain drinks and a mill creek lime seltzer.

Chicken is dry and stringy, fries are indelible and greasy. Left hungry with the majority of our chicken tender plates uneaten because it was so unappetizing.

It was our first time there and it wont be our last. The food was great. We had their version of a sampler and it was big enough for me and my husband to share. The owner was very VERY kind ! Support your local small businesses !!

Recon:We headed to Nolensville today to try something new. What a great surprise! We ordered the Nashville hot and regular tenders with fries. Both came to our table within 5 minutes nice and hot. Probably the most tender and tasty tenders we have ever had and the Nashville hot was spot on! This is a difficult feat to achieve. The 4 dipping sauces were also good. This place is a diamond in the rough and should not be missed.Just simply awesome!I believe the club will be making an official visit soon.In Search of HOT ChickenFB

When I relocated to this area of the county I was already a fan of McDougal's near Vandy in Nashville, and this location was a McDougal's then. The name has changed (can someone tell me why?), but the menu is similar and the chicken remains good. Tenders are good sized and there are nearly 20 sauces or seasonings from which you can select. My greatest anxiety is wanting to try something new, but knowing the traditional ones are there for a reason. 3 tenders gets 2 sauces and 5 tenders gets 3 options. Decisions, decisions, decisions. They have Buffalo fried mac n cheese balls. My first bite - not a fan, but then the flavors meld together and you know you're gonna eat another one. I can also vouch for the wings and tender sandwich. Yes, there's now a McDougal's up the road in Maryland Farms, but mile-for-mile; this place is closer (although Nolensville traffic can get bad in that area).

For the tastiest fried chicken in town, I return again and again! Service is great, even brings orders curbside if needed.

Outlanders is a staple of Nolensville. The chicken is good, the atmosphere is iconic, and the service is fast. The ice cream is also good, which is worth mentioning. However, some of their spicy sauces lack any kind of flavor besides that punch-your-tastebuds spiciness. The Thunderbird Sauce demonstrates this in particular. Overall a good place to eat that most locals will recommend to you.

They have the coziest atmosphere!! Especially at Christmas! Their hot chicken is my favorite, and their fries are so

We was in town to pick up a chair we purchased and decided to have lunch here at Outlanders Southern Chicken, it was just ok not the best but not the worst. Tenders was served hot and the bread was also hot and tasted good but the fries was served warm/cold but was seasoned and tasty. The tenders a while after we ate them we had a taste of oil in our mouth like they needed to change the oil in the fryer. Would we go back I’d say yes, we usually like to give places we eat at 3 tries unless it’s really really bad the 1st time, you know the old saying… you get 3 strikes and you’re out. We had our dog with us and we sat outside on the covered patio and they offered water to our dog which was very nice, so they are dog friendly.??

Real good southern comfort food made with whole ingredients without the additives. That's a hard thing to find. This spot is just the place though if you're looking for both of those in one restaurant. I had buffalo and lemon pepper boneless wings, absolutely incredible. Also, do not sleep on the Mac & cheese bites with habanero ranch. The service is friendly and fast, and feels like a real local business (because it is). Looking around at the environment, you can tell you're in the right place for some simple southern food made right. Definitely check this place out now if you haven't been. I'll definitely be back soon.
