This is very true to the Mexican restaurants that I’ve always appreciated. They focus on quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. The food was great! Mario was a great waiter with just the right amount of attention. He had suggestions but didn’t judge our odd choices! I’m not from here but will make this a regular stop when I come through!
Best Mexican food I've ever eaten anywhere including Mexico. I had the special dinner with chicken enchilada and then I did the beef taco and I did the beef over the tamale the rice and beans were very good there's salsa is good there their chips are good but the special dinner all the chalupa was off the hook it was fresh clean iceberg lettuce which a lot of restaurants use bagged lettuce and it just plain sucks.

I use to frequent Pelanchos on Downtown West, but since we moved to Oak Ridge, it's out of the way. When Cancun opened, we visited and have been hooked ever since. The staff does a wonderful job, the food is always fantastic, never over cooked. Oscar always greets us either as we are coming in or leaving so we always feel welcome.
