Family Clinic of Oak Ridge

After being a patient here for a while now, I feel as if I can leave a honest review.
When I first came to this office I was nervous from reading other reviews. However, I can say that I've never been to a better doctors office. I chose Rose Orange APN and from my first appointment with her til now I have NEVER been disappointed, felt rushed or unheard. Her and her nurse are hands down the best! They truly care about your well-being as a person. Everyone from check in to check out has always been friendly and kind. Id highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new PCP.

I have been going to this doctor‘s office for years. Never had a problem. Dr. Liuzza is the best. She was not there today so I had to see someone else. I work in healthcare. I’m a 42-year-old woman who presented with new onset stage two edema shortness of breath with any exertion. My heart rate was 121. Those are all signs of congestive heart failure, but no blood work was done nothing. I wasn’t asked about my history. There was no Head to toe assessment Done. None of my past medical history was asked about. I had to let you know that I couldn’t take certain medications because I have primary Billary cirrhosis from auto immune. I understand it’s late. I understand you’re tired but my life matters and for the gas I wasted to get from Knoxville to Oak Ridge to get some help. I could’ve stayed in my bed because I have to work tonight.
This was very discouraging. Every pt that walks into that office deserves to be treated like it’s one of your family members.

Hands-down the rudest and most ineffective practice in East Tennessee. When I say rude, it’s across the board, from the front desk to the dismissive, condescending office manager to the absolutely useless doctors who will leave you untreated until you end up in the hospital and nearly die (twice). Only then do they even pretend to care. This office needs to be shut down. NO ONE that works there should be in charge of people’s health.

Dr Wang is excellent. He took the time to explain what’s going on and made sure I had no additional questions before I left. Both visits I was seen very quickly.

Doctor is great, office management awful: I made sure they accepted my insurance and I asked upfront how much it will cost; the answer was copay only. Then I receive a bill for $275. It turns out they did not even SUBMIT the claim to my insurance. Unacceptable.

Ever SINCE ANN CARTER RETIRED FROM THERE in about 2 years coming April NOT ONE TIME HAVE I GOTTEN ALL MY Medication Right not ONE single time First, it was a male, Dr. John and I like him he did better than this whatever she calls herself she I’ve seen her twice and I’ve not gotten any medicine in a year no blood pressure. I have nothing and I paid like nine or 10 different kind of just decided to go to drug test meeting so I had that my sister told my mom and dad. I said you need to read my medical records And obnoxious and rude where I know her. I’m supposed to make real big issue with the head haunts in regard to Miss Missy ! Anyhow, I don’t know she knows who I am who I’m related to find out I’m going to I’m going to because I have need to be going anywhere. It’s very contagious and she insisted that I come in and then she told me that Carter name twist her head and act like oh I don’t know who this woman think she is but I remember her from being taken blood from me when I about 34 years ago in emergency room at the hospital so I know she is she bruised My arm I Kill me Garcia protocol that’s not correct protocol not for what I have not one person! Personally I told her I would do it, but she told me to do after she wrote my medication since I haven’t had any medication for a year no, I’m not doing anything for that That’s what she said to me and the fact that what I have can kill me and she didn’t do anything

Absolutely terrible. I tried to get 3 sick visits within a 12 month period and was denied all 3 times, was even told I was not allowed to see another doctor and there was a 2+ week wait for sick visit. Absolutely unreal. I've dealt with it for a little over a year and finaly switched. I'll never go back after the way they've treated my wife and I

95 year old woman had an appointment for 1:40. It's 2:15. Still waiting with 2 people in the waiting room. Normal to a good experience here.

Since this post the customer service has improved greatly. I go in twice a year and see Dr. Ricche. He's great! Mary was his long time nurse but has recently left and she is missed. But, Bethany has taken up right where Mary left off. I love my Doc and my nurse.

My experience with Dr. Wang took away any respect I have for this clinic. He should not have a profession in the medical field. He was extremely degrading. He disrespected me so badly that I walked out of my appointment. No one has ever talked to me as poorly as that man talked to me. I can never recommend Family Clinic of Oak Ridge to anyone with a clear conscious. I nearly left in tears due to the way he spoke to me. He made me feel like I was an idiot.

I had been going here for regular check-ups for years but after the pandemic tore this country apart; the quality of service is very much sub-par. They don't do half the things they used to do at a regular check-up. They're most interested in getting you in and out and making that $$$. It's terrible. I have great respect for my now former Dr but the practice management is not run well and they like to change personal items on your profile and leave off natural supplements off your chart when they clearly ask you what you're taking. I've requested numerous times to add certain supplements which have removed my need to take medications. However, the fact that I am married (to a man), I don't think they like because I change my marital status to Married (I have a marriage license) they change it back to single. DO BETTER FCOR! I will NOT be returning any time again. Have a wonderful life forcing people to take pills they don't need.

Had my first visit here and was very satisfied. Everyone I encountered was very nice and knowledgeable. I didn't have to wait long to be seen at all. I even went in the next morning for blood work before work and they got me in and out. They literally only had to stick me once. Which is awesome considering I've had lots of issues getting blood drawn. Looking forward to continuing on and hopefully getting my health into tip top shape. I would recommend.

I see Dr. Battles and he is one of the most caring and understanding doctors I have ever been to. A lot of doctors in the past have made me feel like they were rushing to get me out of the room or dismissed my concerns about my health but Dr. Battles takes the time to listen, asks follow-up questions and validates your concerns. His bedside manner is impeccable and I’m so glad I was able to find him since moving to Oak Ridge.
