We came here on recommendation by the ladies at the Oak Ridge museum as a local favorite and they were correct! The place was hopping and the staff were handling it with ease. Hubby and I split two lunch specials and still had enough to take back to the AirBnB for supper. The pies and shakes looked amazing!

Wow. What am absolutely AMAZING place! Service was quick and FRIENDLY. This is the kind of place that you're family from day one. We had breakfast which was VERY reasonably priced, quick to the table and pretty good! AKA the breakfast restaurant trifecta. It's clear this place was built in the 50s\60s, but it's clean and quaint and kinda quirky. Real talk: if you're in Oak Ridge, you would be very VERY smart to grab a meal here. You're welcome. Bonus points: cool AF sparkly blue bar stools. See pics. Now that this is in a building that dies NOT look like it contains restaurant. It's next to the barber shop that dominates the facade.

This hidden gem is a must try if you're in Oak Ridge for any morning/lunchtime appointments. We had breakfast, dessert and service with a smile. This family owned and operated establishment was a little piece of heaven....and had homemade gravy to boot! They have limited daytime hours so make sure you make plans to check Jefferson Fountain out the next time you're in the Secret City!

I hate mornings and this is one restaurant I will get up early for. While I don't get to go often, it's always consistent with wonderful staff and wonderful food. Try it out anytime you're in town.

This place is so good for breakfast and people are so nice here the service is good the food is so good it's unexplainable and the atmosphere is so cozy and nice i suggest this place for breakfast
Friendly staff and great diner fare! Go for lunch and get yourself a Myrtle Burger! Breakfast, can't go wrong with biscuits and gravy or the Y-12 Breakfast Bomb!

Perfectly pleasant country diner, unsurprisingly with no real vegan options, that left an outsider feeling deeply uncomfortable by plastering a giant Trump sign in its attached market/pharmacy where you have to pay your bill.
