Stopped by this little tienda and restaurant because I've always been curious about it and wanted to check it out. It is well stocked with Mexican food ingredients and snacks with a huge selection of cheeses, dried chiles and spices along with fresh meats and vegetables, very authentic.For food, I ordered the bistec plate to go. Once home, I liked the pinto beans with the cheese, but the meat was sliced very thin and it was a bit tough. The meal also came with roasted tomatoes, green chiles, and large green onions, spicy red salsa and green salsa and a 1/2 a lime. Not bad, but it was quite expensive for the amount of food you get. Would definitely recommend the store for Mexican food ingredients, though.

Posted hours say open til 7 pm. Posted hours online say open til 7 pm. We arrived at 6:02 pm and the door was unlocked we walked in and were told they were closed. I said to the guy “online on your website etc it says open til 7pm”He then says to me well we close at 6:30.Like I said previously it was only 6:02 pm and we were told they were closed. Then told 6:30 but not offered to order still.We will absolutely NEVER return.

This place is great for oakridge. Store for authentic Mexican groceries and spices. The spices they have there....really good selection. The tacos are great inmy opinion. The chimichanga was so good. So if you are looking for a Mexican grocery close to oakridge, or good food. This is a good place to start.
